My Dad was there after his hospital stay. He was at NHC for 64 days and ended up worse than when he went in. He ended up back in the hospital but only ended up there because we had to insist that he needed to go was he was severely dehydrated and a horrible UTI among other things. The medical care there is horrible. Now he’s at another facility and has made vast improvements in half the time. If you can’t do everything for yourself there you are in trouble. Please don’t send your loved ones there.

My mom is in the nursing home at NHC HealthCare - Anderson. I'm very pleased. It seems that they have enough caretakers to take care of the people that are in there and personal attention was given when needed. They're pureeing her food; I didn't have a meal there. They play bingo, they have movies in the evening, and they also do crafts.

I was in there for a month , from starting of Sept untill the end of sept , I was treated bad by the staff and the head person , I could not get up and walk , they said I was faking , they wouldnt give me food or water , by the time my Dr got me out of that place I had double pneumonia in my left lung and it was collapsed and had a blood clot in my right lung , I was anemic from no food , they had to give me blood at hospital and I'm still on medication for it , I went through 7 surgeries to keep me from dying , now today 2-24-21 they called my emergency contact and said they were submitting a 600.00 bill agaisnt my estate that's right they thought I was dead , I wouldnt put my worst enemy in that place . They threatened me that they would take me in front of a judge and have me declared unstable and be turned over to them , then I would see what I'd do and not do .

If you have a family member in this place get them out if you’re thinking about put a family member here at NHC and Anderson South Carolina do not do it they will not take care of them if they need to go to the hospital they can’t go to a doctors Sign off on it so if your family member is in cardiac arrest They will not call 911 till they get a doctors to sign off on it and give permission they let my family Member die they are still letting nurses work with COVID-19 and it gets passed on to are love ones

My mother-in-law is getting rehab at National Healthcare in Anderson (Nhc Healthcare Anderson). It's a very typical rehab facility but we've been happy with them. They play bingo and a few other things. The place is clean and the people are friendly. They have done everything we expected them to do.

NHC Anderson is the greatest thing that has ever happened for my mother. She has been a patient there for 2 years now and we have had absolutely NO complaints. The rooms are clean, the staff is awesome and so caring. The Director of Nursing is always so kind and friendly.

Right now, my mother is in a nursing home at NHC. It is clean, the staff is really nice, and the food is very good. They have lots of activities. My mother is having her birthday party there in a couple weeks. I’d rate them about a 4. It would be higher than that if they hadn’t hurt her hip the first day she was there.

We visited Nhc Healthcare. They were very favorable. They were just full. My visit there was great. My mom actually stayed there for about 30 days, and that was part of the discharge. Those people were amazing. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were standard. They had bingo, cookie day, and cake day.

The people in NHC Healthcare are great. They're doing their job and doing it well. My mother's been there a couple of weeks and she's getting better. Staff was top-notch, very easy to work with, pleasant, straightforward, and very friendly.

My grandmother had an aneurism and stayed at NHC for 7 years, from the time she left the hospital to when she passed away. I visited her weekly, and though she could not move or speak, she seemed to be as happy and comfortable as one could hope for in such a situation. Her ward was for patients who were confined to their beds or otherwise unable to care for themselves. The nurses were very patient and caring, they made sure that her linens were always clean and all her medications and food was administered on time. They even put her into a special chair once a week so her and my grandpa could sit outside on the porch for an hour or so. I feel like they made those 7 years as comfortable as possible for her, and that they also tried to make it as easy on my grandpa as possible. I never once saw a nurse mistreat or become frustrated with a resident, even ones who were senile or belligerent. They also were very consoling and respectful when she passed, letting my grandpa and the rest of the family spend her final moments with her. I would recommend NHC to anyone in the Anderson area who needs a place for their loved-one to be taken care of when they are unable to care for themselves.
