Anchor Bay at East Providence was very nice. It was a beautiful place and everything, I just didn't like that you have to furnish it yourself, and then they had that $3500 one-time fee you have to pay upfront. If you have to pay that, then your monthly thing, and then you have to buy all your furniture, I just think it's a little too much right now. All the staff seemed very nice, and even the residents that were there seemed nice. There were activities. There were some games that they were playing. The size of the rooms was good. We saw the dining room and the kitchen. It all looked very nice. It was well maintained.

I liked Anchor Bay at East Providence. It is more of a modern design because it's newer. I took a tour of the whole place and model apartments, and then the empty apartments. Their view is kind of set back in a marsh area, so you have a lot of wildlife back there. They encourage bird feeders and they have small garden plots where the residents, if they're gardeners, can go and plant flowers or things that they loved to do during their life. It's like a good second phase to your life. It doesn't make you feel like you're institutionalized. I thought they really cut down on that institutional feeling, so it was very, very pleasant. That's the word I came away feeling. Oh yeah, I was introduced to a lot of the staff, the fellow who guides the exercises and the young lady who does the crafts and things, the people that were showing me around, and you could see them interrelate with the residents there, and they knew everybody's name, so that was nice. And they ask questions. They didn't know who they were going to run into, but they asked questions about their life, and so it means that they were interested in, and cared to know that stuff.

We chose Anchor Bay at East Providence for my dad because it is twenty minutes away from my house. Before, he was three-and-a-half hours away, and we're the closest relatives, so it was hard going down there, especially during COVID when we couldn't see him for the whole year. It's assisted living, and then they also have memory care, but he is in assisted living right now at level three. I just moved him in there yesterday, but overall, I'm happy with it right now. During my in-person visit, they were very good, and they were very nice. I talked to the sales and marketing rep there. I met a lot of people as we went through but because of COVID, not a lot of people were out in the halls. It seems like a nice place, and the rooms are bigger. My dad is in a studio apartment. The staff seems fine, and they all seem very nice. They are eating in the dining room but only one person to a table. The place is very clean, nice, and open, and I think it is better than where he came from. Now that his physical body has declined a lot, he is better on the ground floor. We actually picked this place because the studio was on the ground floor, and he could get to places easier and not be out of the way.

The warmth, generosity and deep kindness that Ashley gave us as we looked for homes for my 90 year old mother was so special. Their care and thoughtful went WAY beyond what any other facility or person offered~ And during a covid virus they worked with us on room size, sending videos, photos, measurements, hot cocoa with marsh mellows!? :D Unbelievable! My mother is so happy. With great heartfelt thanks from our entire family! xoxoxoxo

My parents lived at Anchor Bay for 3 years and we could not have been happier for the care, environment and kindness. First, their health and safety is paramount at Anchor Bay. They were excellent at communicating when my parents' needs were not able to be met or there were issues that needed addressing. Their activities are varied and many. Definitely something for everyone. But really, the best thing is the staff. They pay attention and provide care in the kindest possible way. THis is a very difficult job and the staff handles it with great respect, kindness and humor.

Our loved one is in Brookdale. Personally, I think that the facilities and the amenities are great. It is in a nice setting. It is easily accessible. She is on the first floor, so she does not have to worry about elevated or anything. The dining room is on the first floor. There are activity rooms, a chapel, a library, and game rooms. So far, the staff that I have been in contact with has been very helpful. Everybody I notice is nice and helpful.

I don’t like the long corridors of Brookdale East Bay. It was more expensive and it did not have cable TV. The person who assisted me was friendly. From what I saw, the facility was clean.

Brookdale East Bay is close to my house, and they got all the services my mother needs. They got movies, and trips that they take them on a van. They serve three meals a day. I am satisfied with everything. The food is very good.

The East Bay Retirement Living was a little bigger. It had a very friendly atmosphere. The residents seemed to be very engaged in what they were doing. The director was very nice as well.

I can't thank them enough for all the help during the process of searching for a place for my wife. They were the first call I made, and the last one I needed to make. It was great! They made our difficult and confusing decision much easier, and also made it possible to have confidence in the decision we ultimately made. They are a wealth of information, not to mention gracious, warm and caring! We're glad to know she's in a place that is safe and with caring people. Highly recommended.

East Bay Manor in East Providence, Rhode Island is a very nice facility for you to consider when looking into admitting a friend or relative for an extended amount of time. The staff is very polite and friendly, and the entire design of the building has a relaxing feel to it. This facility is easy to get to, and is located right off of the highway. The food is delicious especially considering how most of the times facilities get a bad rap on their food. East Bay Manor runs like a well oiled machine as far as the housekeeping and staff is concerned. I loved the view out the window; it was very peaceful and serene. I would recommend this assisted living facility to anyone I knew, I loved it there! If you are considering staying at an assisted living or having a family member stay there, this is certainly one of the finer ones to be at!

it had a pleasant staff and people were friendly. they had many amenities including a free snack machine and nursing staff that had a pleasant response to my questions about my research. this involved seeing if the staff on board were being attentive to those who lived in these homes. it turned out they were and i had a great experience because they were all very helpful and nice.

Green Bay Manor is a great facility. My Grandma has been living there for a little over a year now, and I visit ever so often. The staff there are excellent, they do everything they can to help out and they are all very friendly. It is definitely a comfortable surrounding. The place itself is also very nice looking, very fancy inside and out. The rooms aren't to bad either, each room has a living room/bedroom with a small kitchen, a closet and a bathroom. It is also in a great area, very quiet and has beautiful surrounding, it is definitely a place where anyone would enjoy living the rest of their life. However, with such a nice facility, it is no surprise that the place is fairly expensive, but my grandma believes it is worth ever penny. Besides the high price, there really isn't anything that I can say that is negative about the place.

The facility has a homy feeling to it. The care level isn't what it ought to be. There are not enough staff for the number of residents over there. It also appears that the staff is not well-trained. Delivery of services is quite disorganized and many mistakes are being made. Many services are not delivered as promised. As in any facility, there are some staff members that are outstanding, and others who can't be bothered to do their job. Cleaning is somewhat haphazard in many areas. The quality of the food fluctuates, from good to adequate to poor. Overall, this may be a good place for someone who is quite independent and doesn't need a lot of attention.

I like this facility. My grandmother has lived here for 10 years and she loves it. They take very good care of all of the elderly people living here. haven't heard a single complaint about the living. The temperature controls work very well which is a common thing that people in assisted living have to deal with.
