My parents have moved into St Antoine Residence. It's convenient for me and my family to go see them. It is one of the most reputable nursing homes in our area. And because it's Catholic, and my parents are Catholic, they can go to church every single day if they'd like. They have a full medical team on their staff, like doctors and nurses. They have physical therapy. Today I went there and there was bingo at 2:00, and they had music on some days. There are all kinds of entertainment. The food is really good there. They have an actual real chef, so the food is great. My father has dementia, and they take care of him. They place my parents in the same room, so one is dementia, and one doesn't. The staff is very friendly, very nice and very, very knowledgeable. I have not tried their meals, but I've seen the meals and they looked delicious and smelled great. They have bingo, they play with balloons, they have dancing, they have news, and they have a guy that comes and plays music.

My father was in St. Antoine Residence for rehab. I liked it there, he liked the atmosphere, the setting, and the people. The only complaint that he had was, just like everywhere else, there's not enough staff at nighttime. He had a nice, spacious single room, and he had plenty of room in there. The staff members were all very nice, very friendly, and they worked with him. So, he was very happy with the people. It was paid for by Medicare, so he didn't pay anything out of pocket.

My dad was at St. Antoine Residence. It was very nice. The staff was quite good. The only time I felt they were a little bit short-staffed was at lunch time when there were quite a few residents who needed help either being fed or coaxed into eating. They could use a little more help at that time. However, for the most part, they had enough staff. The staff members were very nice and the whole place was nice. They had plenty of nurses available, too. The rooms could be a little bigger. My dad ended up dying there, so it would have been nice if he was in a larger room at the time. There was a big living room right outside his room. When he wasn't very sick, we could visit and take him out into the living room, which was very nice. I like the fact that they had a chapel. There were a lot of religious components, which was very nice. It is also located beautifully with lovely grounds. They had lots of activities. They had bingo, movies, church and the rosary, singing groups, and happy hour. The music part was very good; my dad went to that a couple of times.

St Antoine was absolutely gorgeous. It's in the middle of the woods with beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. They were very caring and friendly, and more than willing to sit down and discuss any concerns you might have. They have multiple little cafeteria sections at the end of each hallways and they bring the food to the room if the resident wasn't able to come out on their own. They have church every Sundays, and the food is good as well. Most of the nursing home rooms were doubles, and the assisted living rooms were apartments. I couldn't say enough good things about them.

St. Antonine's is an over-priced, understaffed facility where there is not much care for the residents. If there is staff available, I have never seen them. Dinner mainly consists of a sandwich - tonight was Bologna - with one slice of meat. They do not seem to care about their residents as is evident when my mother tries to get help. For $12,000 a month, she should have her own caretaker and get decent meals. This facility is a joke.

Saint Antoine Rehab unit took care of my 88 year old mother when she fell and broke her hip. " Easy Street" their new Rehab facility was amazing. The staff could have not done any more to get her back on her feet and home again. She had not been away from her husband of 62 years and the made sure that she felt comfortable. Saint Antoine has a take out menu that family members could order from and eat meals with her.

my mother lived in the nursing home for 17 years! she passed away several years ago. The care and love, spirituality and kindnesses have deeply impacted our family. When we see the staff that cared for her they remain like family. great care, great facility. F. Marcel Taillon Narragansett, RI

It is probably the nicest nursing home I have ever seen and the service is amazing. They are so friendly and welcoming there. It is pricey, however, being that it is of high quality and that it is also a Catholic nursing home with Mass every day, it is an A+ in my book

The nurses at St. Antoine were always very nice. They were very accommodating and would allow us to bring Thanksgiving meals to share with our grandmother. My grandmother had mental instabilities and she did manage to wander away from the facility briefly. She was found soon after and with the money raised from community donations, the facility purchased an alert system that would let them know that this was the case. The staff was very capable in medical care and made my grandmother's final days peaceful. The regular staff was friendly, and were always happy to spend time with the patients and the family. They had a number of activities for the more active residents that seemed well attended. I never sampled the food at the facility, but it looked good enough. The chapel is very quaint and they have daily masses for the residents. My father had his second marriage here so that my grandmother could attend, and the facility was more than accommodating with this unusual request.

I was very impressed with the facility. My great aunt loved living there. She had many friends, and she was provided countless socializing opportunities with other residents. Her living arrangements were excellent, but she was hardly ever in her room because she was so involved in the activities The Villa provided. The staff was extremely friendly and patient. They understood their duties as healthcare professionals, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that the residents of the facility felt comfortable, safe, and cared for. At the same time they allowed the residents a sense of independence and dignity that is not available at other similar facilities. The only complaint that I have heard was that the food could be quite bland, although this could possibly due to the many dietary restrictions placed on certain residents. Overall the facility is wonderful, and I have never met a resident who did not enjoy living there.
