The staff at Brookdale Centre of New England was empathic, very nice, very professional, and very friendly. The rooms were simple and adequate. It had everything that you would pretty much need. There's absolutely a nice courtyard view. The grounds were fantastic. The courtyard was nice and seemed very open. They allow birds, and they have birdfeeders out. It was wonderful. There were grills out there and tables with umbrellas. Everything was nice. The dining area looked like a beautiful lodge. The food is homemade for the most part. The residents were socializing. I saw them with their class. They have a kitchen where they have cooking courses. I saw people getting their hair done in their private little spa.

The staff at Brookdale Centre of New England was professional. It seemed very cost effective in terms of reasonably good accommodations at a low price. They definitely had activities. The rooms in comparison to the other facilities that I went to were slightly smaller, but they were a little bit less money. I have really nothing negative to say. The staff answered all my questions. They were very polite to me and tried to walk me through the process. They were very good.

I toured Brookdale Centre of New England. I like the location and the room setup is the best out of any of the places I've looked at. They had a bit larger facilities for refrigeration and little kitchenettes. I thought it was a nicer setup than some of the other places I've been to. Everybody was friendly, everybody smiled, I got introduced by the people who clean the rooms, down to the chef, and the drivers. Everybody was happy and they were all glad to see me. They sent me stuff home, and the food was good and their menu looked nice. I remember one of their residents raving about their lunch and telling me what a great lunch they had. I liked the area they were in, they had a nice courtyard and an outdoor area where they did barbecues and picnics and stuff with residents. That was a nice area. I like their layout, I thought that was one of my top preferences.

Dad is at Brookdale Centre of New England. He was in assisted living for a year and we had some issues with the management of medications. I felt things weren't charted or written down properly or completely enough. So, if there's a resident who has meds from the VA. and they can't get them free from the VA, they're not calling the VA and getting them ahead of time. Instead, they're calling the local pharmacy and then asking the family member to pick up the medication OR they wait until the medication is completely out and then inform us that the medication is out when they're supposed to do it like 8 to 10 days ahead of time. So, I found that that was a little tough. Other than that, they've always been good with my dad. They've always made sure that he gets to his meals and his clothes are clean. Any time that there was ever an issue, they always got on it immediately. Communication between the nurses and myself was always good. I could always reach out and get help no matter what. My dad loves it there actually. They have a daily calendar every day for activities. He went to the movie center all the time to watch movies, they had Bombshell Betty who was an actress and she'd come and sing, and Tiki Tuesdays, which he loved. A family member could go with him if there weren't any COVID concerns. So, that was always fun.

Brookdale Centre of New England was nice. There was an activity there at that time. The rooms were very bright. I think they had everything there that would give people plenty of space. I liked the way they had their set up as far as their parking and the activity area. I thought it was really good. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The dining area was very cheerful. It had some area that you could sit in if you wanted company or by yourself. The residents' rooms were a good size. There were different sizes available and they seemed very adequate. I know when we went through there that my friend felt comfortable with the size, too, the one-bedroom size.

I toured Brookdale Centre of New England and the whole place looks like an expensive resort. It's really terrific. The staff was great. The price was affordable. I'd recommend it to anybody. It's nice. They had a beautiful dining hall that looked like a fancy restaurant and the lady who gave us a tour was wonderful. She was not pushy, but was only showing us the place and answering questions. She was very good.

Brookdale Centre of New England was very clean and well sanitized. They were precautious with everything and making sure everybody had masks and all the rooms that were opened to you were sanitized. Everything was copacetic. They showed us what an assisted living room would be, what it will look like, and it was nice. There's a couch, a TV, a dresser, a bed, a large closet, and a bathroom. It's a typical studio apartment, except you can't cook in there. The person who did the tour was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions though.

I visited Brookdale Centre of New England, and the tour was good. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. The place was easy to the eye. The layout was OK. I saw both sizes, and I kind of like their layout. Their shared suite has a pretty neat layout. They showed me pretty much everything when I was there. They had plenty of activities for seniors, and they had some pretty good onsite services.

Brookdale Centre of New England is my first choice, and I liked it very much. The atmosphere was quite nice. I'm most impressed with the fact that they have a large Veteran Club there and my dad is a retired navy veteran, so I think he would like that. The staff member who gave me the tour was really nice. She was great, very helpful, and knew what she was doing. The rooms were very nice and the community is very new, so it's very lovely. They had these indentations where the doors go into the apartments, like your entryway into a home. It's really homelike but new, clean, and neat. It's decorated in a very lovely way. The dining area was just beautiful. It's good for maybe 40 people, but I didn't think it was that big. It felt like walking into a large restaurant. It had cathedral ceilings and was really beautiful.

Brookdale Centre of New England is very large, that's one of the things I didn't like. There's no help with Medicare or anything, so it's very expensive. It's very beautiful, it's a newer building, and very nice, but it's not what we're looking for. I saw an apartment with 2 bedrooms and a shared common area. They also offer 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. They have activities for the residents, an exercise room, a family room with a TV and internet, and they have a café. They have a lot of amenities.

My mom's experience at Brookdale Centre of New England has been relatively positive. They have plenty of activities and very clean facilities. The employees are very helpful. Her apartment is a very good size with a nice kitchen area, good-sized living room, large bedroom and bathroom, and plenty of space. It's kept very clean; housekeeping and laundry service have been very good. The dining area and meals seem to be very good. They have a nice exercise and living area. There are quite a few planned activities at the facility and a van that can take the residents off-site on field trips.

Everything is fine at Brookdale Centre of New England, but the food could be better. The apartments are beautiful, the building is nice, the people are wonderful, and the nurses are great.

I chose the Brookdale for its proximity, cleanliness, and its modern facility. Everyone is wonderful. They know you by name, and greet you right when you come in. They are taking very good care of my mother. My mother has a studio; so it’s a single-room with a little kitchen area, and a big beautiful bathroom. I think they have one-bedroom, and deluxe-sized studios. The food is excellent. They are given menu choices every day. I have been happy with that. They have exercise, bingo, movies, meetings, fieldtrips, and shopping trips. However, a little bit more communications regarding medications for my mom, needs improvement.

I liked most of the staff at New England Bay; they were nice. The rooms were a little institutional, so I didn't really care for the rooms. The dining room was gorgeous, but I didn't try the food. My suggestion would be to make the rooms homier. Everything was fine except for the room. It's got fluorescent light, and it was very depressing.

They did everything they could to get my mother in there. Unfortunately, she deteriorated and was not able to go. I visited on three occasions. Everyone was very nice, very accommodating, and very friendly. It's a lovely facility, and the accommodations were very nice. Literally from walking into the lobby and sitting and waiting for my appointment, everyone was just friendly, kind, and welcoming -- from the people who lived there, to the people who were visiting, to the staff. They had a little café where people can get donuts, coffee, and pastries and play on the computers. It was just a nice atmosphere. The people were more than willing to answer questions and do anything they could to try and make this work. My mother needed a first floor apartment -- they had one left, and they were more than willing to reserve it for me until she was ready. Everybody from the director down to the sales person to the nurses was very nice. The rooms were small, but more than sufficient for what someone in that situation would need. It was comfortable and homey -- a nice personal place for someone -- but with plenty of outside areas where they can go to activities, socialize with people, and not feel that they have to be trapped in a room. There's enough room for them to move around and have their own space if they need to stay in their room for whatever reason. There is a variety of sizes of rooms as well -- everything from a studio up to two bedrooms. There's nothing I can complain about Brookdale Centre of New England (Formerly New England Bay Retirement Living).

New England Bay is an upscale and fairly new building. It is very nice and very new. I just didn't get the feeling of warmth in it. I just can't give any reason why but I didn't get warm and fuzzy. The woman that did the tour was very nice. Visually, the building is very attractive. I didn't have a problem with the accommodations at all. Maybe visually it was a little more appealing because it was new, and it had huge windows, so it was extremely bright. There was nothing negative about it. There was an exercise class, and there was a speech thing taking place. People were doing different things, and the amenities were lovely. It seems to me that the dining room is elegant too, but that would be all lost on my husband.

My Mom recently became a resident of NE Bay Retirement Living. It was a difficult decision but turned out to be the best decision. The staff and management are excellent, caring and professional, the facility is clean, and the food is great! My Mom is happy at her new residence and we are happy that her needs are being taken care. Thank you NE Bay.

It was new, clean, bright and cheerful. It was beautiful. It was like a hotel. The rooms were fine and sufficient. The dining area was lovely. The employees were very friendly. The woman who gave me the tour was very informative. I could live there.
