I had looked at Cumberland Woods Village off and on through the years, and I have had dinner there and so forth. I did plan originally to go there, but then, when it was time to make a decision, they had no one-bedroom apartments available. They only had two-bedrooms in the outer buildings that would be a walk to get to the dining hall.
Cumberland Woods Village is a very nice facility. They have a theater inside, and they have regular people come in to perform. It's laid out very nicely, and it's on top of the hill. They have lots of open space and beautiful surroundings, a beautiful patio area with benches and greenery, and everything is near the main building. It's a very nice place to live. I have many friends who live there.
The staff member was very nice and very kind, and she gave me the information I asked for. It was a very nice tour. She showed me a one-bedroom that was available, but someone was moving in the next day or two into that place. She showed me a two-bedroom that a friend of mine actually lives in, and I had a nice visit with her.

This is such a beutiful place. Nice people. The food isnt great. it's okay, but not good for the money. Managment doesnt do much. One lady just sits at the front desk all day doing nothing but playing computer games. Way too expensive for what you get.

My father-in-law is in Cumberland Woods Village. We chose it for the location, because it's newer, and because he likes the food in the dining area. It's right next to the hospital, and it has nice amenities, but it's very pricey. They have a theater, speakers come in and present there, and they have a lot of social gatherings. They have a pool table, which he loves, they have a beautiful garden outside, a nice library, and a workout room. They have met our expectations, if not exceeded them.

Cumberland Woods Village is out where the new Passavant Hospital is. It's right on their campus, and you can walk over to it. The rooms were beautiful. It's a very exclusive facility. The staff was great and they showed us around. They had everything except for a swimming pool. The food was excellent.

This was my mother's home, from the day it opened, until she died last week. Both the staff and residents became her family. Everyone truly CARES!
The facility is very high end and serves restaurant quality meals to the residents. There is nothing INSTITUTIONAL about it!

Cumberland Woods Village was good. The staff members were friendly and professional. We toured their independent living. They have 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom facilities. They were pretty new, so they were very modern and very beautiful. They have a meal plan, and you can dine or not because the units included kitchens. They have an assisted living, but we did not tour that. They even had a theater. They have somebody come in and clean your apartment once a week. I actually do have a friend who lives there.

We went to visit Cumberland Woods Village. It was very updated, very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of our questions. They had a lot of activities. They actually had a theater where they had acts to come and perform and they showed movies there. They also had transportation.

Cumberland Woods is beautiful. It's lovely and of course, they cost more. They have onsite beauty salons. They also provide housekeeping and meals. And I think for $3,600 I can keep my German shepherd. With other facilities, you will have to spend big bucks before they let you keep your big dog.
