Northland Heights Located in North Hill was the one we liked the most out of all the places we visited, but they were eight months out. So, we're looking for something a little bit sooner than that. The rooms were really, really spacious, and that was probably my favorite part. Their rooms were a lot bigger than the other rooms I saw today. They had a lot of amenities, and that was good to see. They had church and Bible studies, which I thought was a good selling feature. They also had transportation for group outings. They had an ice cream parlor and rocking chairs. The staff who assisted us with the tour was great. They were all really nice. They were prompt with their responses. As soon as we walked in, they greeted us. It wasn't a huge waiting period. They acknowledged us right away. Even though they knew we came in early, they were still able to accommodate us.

I toured Northland Heights Located in North Hill for myself. It was very accommodating, but they didn't have any opening at that time, and they didn't know when one would become available. The local area had everything there that a person would require. The building itself was very well laid out. They had a lot of activities that one could join in. It was just a great place. They have everything that you need, and it was a very nice facility. I think the price was very reasonable, too. What I really enjoyed about it was you can go independent living, and if you need assisted living you could go into that, too. They had accommodations for both. While I was there, some residents were decorating bowling pins, putting handkerchiefs on top of the bowling pins, and then later that evening, they were actually going to bowl and knock them down, which I thought was hilarious. They had a movie room and a patio with small gardens to plant if you wanted to. The lady that showed me around was very pleasant, professional, and helpful. The daily menu had three selections that you could choose from. If you didn't like the choices on the menu, they had another menu with different items on it that you could get.

Northland Heights located in North Hill was fine. The dining area was very nice and it felt like home. The rooms were very well-kept and very nice, too. They had various activity areas, and there was a lot to offer, like a salon and other things. It also looked brand new, so upkeep was very good.

My father is in Northland Heights Located in North Hill. It's a brand new facility, so everything in there is just topnotch, beautiful, and very clean. The staff is all just very helpful. Whatever the people need, they try to get it worked out as quickly as possible. Everybody's just been super friendly and caring. The food is good, and there's a variety. There are three meals a day that are included in the price. They have a menu that's a month in advance. If the person doesn't like what's on the menu, there's always a bunch of other options to choose from. There's a lot of social activities. They also have a van. If they want to go somewhere, they'll take him up to five miles away from the facility. One of the things that my dad was really happy about was at the independent living part. His rent is just $1,700 a month. It is all inclusive (all the utilities, cable TV, wi-fi, and three meals a day), so it's hard to beat. The only negative (but it's not a huge negative and I don't think it will be forever), is that they are so new. They were originally going to have their grand opening in March of 2020. Because of Covid, everything was really affected and what happens is that they can't hire as many people because they don't have a ton of residents yet. I don't have any doubt that that will change soon. They have a new marketing person. The maintenance guy is fantastic and super nice. He tries to fix anything that he can, but he's the only one for the whole building. Sometimes things get put on the backburner, but I have no doubt that that will be remedied soon. Every apartment is so nice. All the people are so nice. The food is good.
