About This Community

At Marquis Gardens Place, our senior living community, we all work together toward a common goal: to provide quality care for our residents. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Our residents can engage in a variety of activities, such as bingo, card and board games, social hour, yoga, church services, exercise classes, and movie nights. We also go on outings for shopping and visits to local restaurants and movie theaters. Schedule a visit at our Uniontown senior living community today.

Marquis Gardens Place was very nice. It was the nicest one I visited. You get what you pay for. They are more expensive than the other ones. I just liked everything about it. It's beautiful. I could live there. They were all kind, courteous and helpful. The rooms were nice. It's got the comforts of home.

My mother was in Marquis Gardens Place Senior Living Community for four months. It was very good and the people there were great. I didn't get to know any of the clients, but it was a very nice place. It was clean and the service was good. I have no complaints about that. The rooms were well-kept, modern, and they're certainly adequate space. The surroundings were beautiful and it's a very nice setting. They had crafting, bingo, and other games. It was during COVID, which kind of dampened things. I know that they had some things they couldn't do. They used to do trips out of there, but they didn't because of COVID. But they had a prayer group, and it was nice for mom. Initially, of course, they were eating in their rooms, and then when things got a little less restricted, they have the dining room that most people go to. You still had an option to eat in your room, though. Mom loved the food, so can't complain there. It had a good variety. I would give it a five, except the cost is considerable. It's corporate and there were a lot of rules. I don't know how the person was managing their own situation and how they would keep up with it. But I thought the layout was great.

Marquis Gardens Place provides activities and stuff for the residents. We looked at a studio apartment, which had lesser square footage than the other rooms we saw from other facilities. We were looking for a place that was a closer proximity and Marquis Gardens Place lost points on that one big time. For some people it might be a great place, but for us it wasn't a good fit. It seemed like they were doing transition training for the new nurse manager. Two nurses were on Dad right away and said that they're going to do some kind of evaluation, a cognitive evaluation, and that's how they're going to determine how much it'll cost, and they'll give us an accurate price and stuff. It was a lot. It was overwhelming all at once, and the two of them together spent about forty five minutes with him. Then somebody from the administration came in and asked if we had any questions, but Dad and I were both numb. That was also our second stop, so it had been a long day. I know they thought they were being attentive, but it was a lot. For me, they seemed more profit-oriented than people-oriented. The building was very nice though. It had an elegant feel to it. It was well kept and very fancy, but didn't have as homey of a feel as the other facility we first checked out.

We visited Marquis Gardens Place. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. The apartments were nice, nicely sized, and clean. It's a very nice facility. It was a limited tour because of COVID, but everything was good. It was nicely laid out. It was like an open rectangle, and there was a courtyard in the middle. I only got to meet two staff members, but they were very nice and answered our questions.
