Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading is very clean. When they come in and scrub a room, they move you out and clean it. That place shines. The therapy is great. There's always somebody coming in and checking on my mom. They have great communication. The caseworker is constantly calling and checking on not only her but my niece as well, which you don't get a whole lot. Even the doctors called me to ask what my question would be, and I just found that very good. She likes their food, too. The staff is great. You can see her getting better in her therapy and even the nurses that come in to give her medicine, greet her by her first name. They wait until she takes her medicine, which is a big concern of mine since she has a swallowing problem. They cut her nails yesterday and they said they were going to paint them today, so that was nice.

My husband was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading. He was there two or three times, and that's an excellent place for rehab. They've got excellent people. It's an excellent facility. I had no complaints at all. I 100% highly recommend them to anybody. The staff was wonderful. The cost of the caring and the kind of care he got when he was in that facility was just absolutely wonderful. I was able to visit with him every day. I'd go to rehab with him, and they'd say, "Come on, you can come with us." They were very nice. They had a big covered area from the entryway to get in. It's a big building just like the normal rehab places. I was pleased with the rehab, all the physical therapists, and everybody who worked with him. The doctors were very nice and always made it a point to talk to me and tell me how he was doing.
