What I like best about Ware Presbyterian Village is that they had a lot of activities for the seniors. They put the effort in on that. My mother does not participate in them though and I can't do anything about that.
What I liked least about the tour was that I didn't see any residents. The residents seem to be all closed off from everybody. Compared to the other places where they were milling around the facility. I don't know what the story was there, whether the people were allowed to have more freedom or not. I don't know about the amount of freedom they're allowed.
I toured their assisted living and the person I toured with was fine but I didn't see any other staff there. There were no other people and I didn't know where they were. I didn't meet anyone else, they weren't available.
They have a lot more people that are independent living and they have a pool, a fitness gym, exercise classes, and they have someone that comes in to do exercise classes. For someone interested in that, this place would be great for them.
It's near restaurants but they also have their own food facilities. It's right on the outskirts of town. You can drive there in a quarter a mile.
