Excellent caring, friendly staff. The residents and staff are very welcoming and greet you with a smile making you feel at home. The staff goes out of their way to answer questions and are very accommodating. They even have a cat, Bella, that greets you and makes you smile. Very happy with our experience and highly recommend.

We went to Juniper Village at Meadville. The building itself was nice. It's a little dated, but it was extremely clean and well taken care of. The staff was extremely nice. They provide live band concerts. Downstairs, they have a bar area where they serve alcohol and nonalcoholic drinks. They have a theater area. The rooms that they offer were very neat and clean. Although they do not offer central air-conditioning, which I was disappointed with, they said that if you provided a window air-conditioning unit, they would install it for them. I think that should be part of the place, but at least they had the hallways that are air-conditioned. They had bingo, cards, and puzzles. They had different activities that they did every day. They also got together once a week and they would go out for dinner or breakfast. The menu was phenomenal. This place had the best menu I have seen out of three different ones I've looked at. They offered a wide variety. They offered different types of meals. If you didn't like what they were making that day, you could get something off of an alternative list. The meals were taken care of by a committee of the residents. Once a month, they got together and they decided if they were going to keep what they had or change it up and get something new on it. I was impressed with the meal situation at this place. This is my top pick that we're looking at to go with.

Juniper Village at Meadville would have been a good location for my mom because she lived most of her life in Crawford County. It's just that she wanted to have her own room and be able to even cook a little bit on her own. The lady I met, though, was very helpful and very knowledgeable, and the facilities were clean and seemed to be well thought out. They had places for different activities. It was a nice place. They had a salon and different activity rooms. The facility was actually the old David Mead Inn. It was kind of a historic place in Meadville. It's in a nice neighborhood and an older part of the town.

The tour was great. What they say they do, you can see they deliver on it. Every staff and resident had smiles on their faces.

I recently had a visit with a long time family friend that lives at Juniper. She has lived there for a few years now. Things have changed so much over the last 2 years for the better. It is very clean, smells good and the renovations look so nice. The staff are always welcoming. I had to do a COVID screening, but I didn't mind. They had done an outstanding job at keeping COVID out of their facility. I believe they only had a few cases and they were employee cases. That right there speaks volumes. The employees are so dedicated to caring for my friend. She was at a drumming exercise when I showed up. It looked so fun, the people were all smiling and laughing. I would recommend Juniper, and do, to anyone looking for an affordable personal care home. They are wonderful!

The staff at Juniper Village was very nice. It's a very nice and clean facility. I was very impressed. They have a respite program, and that's the one I'm looking at sending my husband to right now. The staff who helped me was very nice, very informative, pointed things out, asked questions, and gave advice. She was very helpful. The place was very nice. It was like a hotel, and it's clean. I had coffee and a muffin while we were sitting and talking. The muffin came from their kitchen, and they sent me home with six of them. They are delicious and had good food. It's definitely homey in there. They have a very nice parking facility, and it's paved. Everything was neat and orderly.

Juniper village at Meadville is a number one facility of it's kind. The staff at Juniper Village are some of the most caring and competent caregivers a person could want for their loved one. They keep close tabs on all of their residents to make sure that they are comfortable and content. They provide caring support for the resident's emotional needs as well as their physical ones. We have no complaints about Juniper Village at Meadville. Nice rooms, good food, lot's of activities for all kinds of interests and needs are all provided for a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

A family member chose this facility several years ago and has been very happy with the decision. Our family visits almost daily and we are always greeted with friendly faces and compassionate care partners. There are staff members at the ready if you need something and they also go out of their way to ask you if you do need something. The management and staff truly do go the extra mile to make every day as pleasant as can be. There are activities galore, and also quiet time for those who like to sit and read or work on puzzles. Our family member, along with our family have been 100% pleased with Juniper Village at Meadville, we strongly recommend it!

We are truly grateful to have “found” Juniper for our mother. From the moment we entered the front door we felt a connection. The staff (Kim, Tina, Tami to mention a few) went above and beyond to expedite placement. They were sensitive to her current situation and needs. We cannot begin to express our sincere appreciation to all of the staff who have been so kind and caring. Even the residents have made mom feel welcome and part of the Juniper Family. They have also made us feel part of their family – by including families in events, celebrations, and activities. We know that she is being well cared for, is happy to have made so many new friends and involved with so many activities both in-house and in the surrounding community. We are amazed to see the progress she continues to make. We highly recommend Juniper Village to anyone who is looking for a senior living community for their loved one. -Edinboro, PA

I have visited many residence at Juniper Village. As I look around, I see smiles everywhere. The atmoshere is so welcoming. I has the feel of an old fashion, elegant hotel/resort. Beautiful, large social spaces for residence, families and friends. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Juniper Village welcomes the community to use their available areas for a variety of venues. It is truly a community treasure.

A Resident's Daughter
My mother has lived at Juniper Village at Meadville since May 2018. I visit often and I am always so impressed with the care and compassion of the staff. The residents are treated with kindness, respect, affection and dignity. The staff are attentive to the needs of the residents and always ready to help, whatever the issue. The building is a converted historic hotel and much of it retains the charm of the original inn. The monthly activities calendar is filled with activities and events designed to meet the cognitive and physical abilities of all of the residents, and family members are encouraged to come and participate as well. I live an hour away from this facility and there is no other place where my mother would be cared for as well as she is here.

We visited Juniper Village at Meadville, it's more like a personal care home or assisted living, but they don't do medical care or physical therapy. I thought it was pleasant, but when you come in the back entrance, the bathroom that guests used really looked worn and icky. Other than that, it's very pleasant and very clean. The staff is friendly, and the dining room is lovely. Actually, this is the place that my parents used to go when they were younger, and they would go dancing. It was a big, luxury, old-school hotel around here, and the dining area was in a big ballroom, all beautiful glass atrium, with nice, linen napkins. They put in a group hub that the seniors can go to, the public can come in once a month, mingle with the residents, and have like a social, or out for an evening atmosphere. They had some little games in there they would recall doing in their dating years. They had several lounge areas where people could go, watch TV, sit on couches, and read. They had one area that was a lounge/craft/exercise area, and it was a very big room encompassing all that. The thing I really liked was they continually engage the public to come in and mingle with the seniors.

Juniper Village is beautiful. I was very impressed with the place and so was my parents and everybody else involved. My parents were very attached with it. The rooms were my parents were in, I could consider relatively small, but it was OK. The food is wonderful, and they have a very nice setup there. They have very good care. They go and play bingo.

Juniper Village was beautiful and nice inside for the price. It had good staffing. However, it had limited staff for my mom because she needed a three-person assistant and they didn't have that.
