I like Sunrise of Blue Bell for my sister because it seemed to have the age group and dignity of life there. I was really impressed with the fact that the person, Colleen, who took me around knew the residents. They seem to know her, and the residents and workers are like that; I like that a lot. It was a place with people who have memory care issues or older adults. There just seemed to be more of a home type feeling. I talked to the director. What I like about the facility is that every six months, they reevaluate the residents. I saw that they have people come in and offer talks. That day they had a funnel cake truck coming out for the residents, and I saw that some women were taking advantage of the salon. There's a hairdresser who comes in. I thought the upkeep was absolutely wonderful. It appeared very clean and didn't have that nursing home smell, which is really important. Everything just seemed to be well-maintained.

I observed a memory class at Sunrise of Blue Bell. I liked the people. They seemed very engaged and knowledgeable about the level of care that they could give my husband, which was good. I liked the facility and the security there, because my husband is disoriented. I spoke to two people that live there, and they were very happy there. The facility is always very clean, it's laid out well, and it was well-appointed. It's around 18 years old, but it's well kept. They have everything that I was looking for. My husband's on a little bit of a special diet, and they have that. They do housekeeping every day, they do laundry, and they'll have a room for him with another gentleman. It's semi-private and they share a bathroom. The staff who gave the tour were very nice people and very accommodating. It's easy to get good parking, and the location is fine.

We chose Sunrise of Blue Bell for my grandmother. It's been wonderful so far. My mom has been very happy with it, and she's been able to visit. We're very happy with it. The building looked nice and clean. The memory care area was locked up tight. The security for that section was very good. The dining rooms were clean. It was an overall clean place. The rooms were nice, and the memory care had very good security for dementia patients.

I know Sunrise of Blue Bell. I toured it several times, but I've spoken to no one. It's a beautiful community, a beautiful building, it's in a great location, and it looks great. The rooms do not appear small and offensive; they're comfortable. The outside looks pretty.
