Greenfield of Perkiomen Valley used to be a high school, so there were renovations and they had a lot of very interesting things there. Their security setup was different, because it's more spread out. So, you have elevators and steps going down the hallway, up then down the corridor. There were certain areas that were locked off for those with dementia or more care required. The layout was just very nice.
I could park my car there if I still had the ability to do that. There are other activities if you want to sign up for and do it, such as arts and crafts. If you want to eat in your apartment, you can, or you could go down and eat in the dining area. It was very clean and very neat. It was contemporary. Jennifer and I talked a couple of times to see if I was interested in coming back or if I wanted to come up there for a tasting. She was very attentive, very warm, and caring. I would recommend that place.

I was surprised that the Greenfield of Perkiomen Valley seemed very modern and up to date. Everything was open and I was really impressed with it. I only met one person. She took me on the tour and was very professional. The apartments were really good too. It had a double bed in it, a dresser, and a nice closet. They supply the beds and dresser for you, unless you want to bring your own. I think they have a library, a beauty salon, and a beautiful garden at the back. Their dining room was clean, open, and just looked like a nice dining room.

My wife is a resident at Greenfield. She finds the staff extremely helpful and knowledgable. She loves the interaction with other residents. I have noticed a great improvement with her in the past six months. I am very pleased with the staff at Greenfield.

The staff at Greenfield Senior Living of Perkiomen Valley are great. They are very helpful, caring and friendly. They keep me posted and up to date with everything that's going on with my mom.
Overall, the community is pleasant, well maintained and clean. The rooms are nice and there are a lot of activities available for the residents.
However, the main testament to the quality of the home is the fact that my mom is REALLY happy there!

It's been 6 months since my mother passed away at green field senior, I waited this long to be sure I was just not just angry because my mother was no longer with us, and altho it been 6 months I still am as angry as the day she passed, I feel they really droped the ball on my mother, she was only there 7 months , when we went there all they talked about was being family, they were all over her like they knew her forever , my mother was in very good health when she went there of course we were not aware she had cancer at 93 years old , we took her from her doctor of 20 years a put her with a doctor at greenfield, after a month or so my mother started complaining about pain, she hardly ate and was always sick in her stomach we were taking her to the doctor all the time to the point that the doctor said there was nothing wrong with her, yet she would cry in pain, so at my urging I begged my sister to take her to the hospital to not listen to the doctor so she did , a few hours later we were told she only had a few weeks to a month to live, now i do realize that the out come for my mother would have been the same the differance would have been if the doctor would have listened to my mother she would not have laid in pain for 2 months we could have made her final days at least comfortable for her, when I think of her laying in pain all those months and all we got from the doctor was there is nothing wrong with her give her something from over the counter, the only time they gave her any thing stronger was when my sister complained and insisted they give her something. The only good thing about green field is the cleaning ladys and the aids as far as any one that runs that place they are only about the money, my mother has been gone 6 months now and I have not heard any thing from the so called greenfield family , I guess I understand that 3,000 + is no longer in the bank, out of site out of mind.
