I went to visit the Brightview East Norriton. My first impression was it was a very welcoming environment. It was warm and cozy. The staff seemed very friendly and attentive to the residents. The residents seem to be happy and comfortable in their environment. It was a very warm place to visit, and one in which I don't think that I would have a problem settling down in. The one-bedroom was nice. The rooms could have been a little bigger, but it was nice and layout was good. I was very impressed with all of the amenities that they offered: the exercise room, the library, and access to swimming pools. They had activities, like movie night, and I understand that they did offer day trips. I think they just had a parking lot, and that area could use a lot of improvement.

We went to Brightview East Norriton a year ago when we first started, and that was good too. It was fine, the rooms seemed fine, they were a little dated, but I think they were re-doing some of them, and the facilities were good. They had a dining room, a bar area, and activities.

My parents were allowed to move into the ILF without any assessment or medical history review. I felt that it was a ploy to push them to pay more for senior Helpers which resides within their facility (the facility probably gets a kickback). The apartment would have been decent if it had been properly renewed before they moved in-more specifically the carpets were stained and disgusting!! They only steam cleaned them and in no time after their move the stains appeared. My mother pleaded with them to replace the carpets but they would not (attempted to steam clean several times). Both my parents have passed away and now they are trying to get us to pay for new carpeting stating that the carpet was replaced before my parents moved in. The people in management only care about the bottom line. Before my parents moved in, they reassured me that we would be called if any falls or medical emergency occurred. Both occurred frequently and I heard nothing from them! Some of the lower level staff (housekeeping, maintenance) were very friendly but management was horrendous! They only care about making money! Beware!!!!

I visited Brightview East Norriton. It was like walking into a hotel. It was just fabulous. The rooms were very modern, very open, bright and very nice. The experience was wonderful. The young lady who took me on tour was very knowledgeable. It was great. I left there very confident of what I could and couldn't do. I saw their menu, and they offered quite a bit. They had a main dining area and a pub, which was lovely.

We like Brightview East Norriton. I'm from Pennsylvania, so I would go to Norriton if I had no other alternative, but it was beginning to show its wear and tear. It was clean, but it was getting old. It really wasn't I was looking for. I thought the staff member who took me around was excellent. They fed us lunch and they had it in their little personal dining room. We ate what the chef prepared, but it wasn't good.

Brightview is a great new retirement home and nursing home. It is very clean and new looking, and all of the employees are so nice! They are not only there to do there job, they are really there to be your friend. and the food is amazing! Its like a 5 star restaurant! I visited many other places trying to figure out where to go when I leave my home, but none of them compared to Brightview!
