My relative is being well cared for. I'm impressed by the number of staff on duty at all times no matter what day or time I visit. They are caring and make sure the residents have whatever they need. I'm good the food is good. It looks good, but due to Covid I haven't been able to have a meal there. The place is always spotless.

My mother has been living here for 6 months. The staff deeply caring. There have been numerous instances of people going above and beyond what would be expected. The level of medical care is amazing. She was evaluated by numerous doctors and a plan was established to ensure her needs were met. There are always 2 to 3 staff members around at all times. Everyone seems to "know" my Mom and what works for her. This is really important since she suffers from dementia. Visiting has been limited due to Covid, so it's comforting to know she's being well cared for. The facility is clean and the food is good.

My sister has been at this location for close to 4 years. Most of the nurses and aids are very polite and kind to my sister and me. I may have seen maybe one aid that was disrespectful to a patient, that was several months ago and haven't seen her since.
They are understaffed and the nurses seem to be weighed down with endless paperwork and/or managing medication distribution.
The activities person, does a fantastic job of keeping the residents active and engaged with bingo, art and crafts, parties, music, etc.
The facility is clean and neat and decorated for the appropriate season.
One comment that I would like the management to address is the fact that there isn't a nurse present, during mealtimes in the dining room. There are aids, but a nurse needs to be present in case of a choking or other situation.
I witnessed a patient choking and the aid was trying desperately to get a nurse. One finally arrived, but I think it would be a brilliant idea to keep one in the dining room at mealtime.
The aids, that I've seen are very good with the patients.
The receptionist is very kind and attentive.
The location of the facility is beautiful, as nursing homes go. I'm glad that my sister is here, in between cows and horses in the countryside of Chester County.
The staff work hard to keep the residence happy. I attest to that.

No one ever at front desk to answer phone or give directions. The food is not healthy for some people that have high sugar

The staff completely disregards its patient and quality of care is little to non-existent. They do a disservice to the recuperation and rehabilitation of the patients they are supposed to be in care of, specifically those who are economically deficient.

The caregivers are a very loving group of individuals. The facility is beautiful and and new. Rehab individuals stay in private rooms.

My children found Twin Pines Health Care Center; I went there to have my therapy. There were many things I liked about the place. I had a single room; the rooms were very nice. It was fairly remodeled; they tore down the old place and rebuilt it up, but the dining room was very nice. The therapy rooms and the bathrooms are very nice.
They had a great many activities. There were sing-alongs and karaoke. The nurses were funny, they joined in a lot of it, and you could hear the people laughing all over. The residents seemed to enjoy a lot of it.
I think they should have improved the dining experience; there wasn’t enough food. I quite often ask them to get me something in the night because I just couldn’t go to sleep.

My mother was in Twin Pines Nursing Home for two and a half months, and I thought that was a positive experience. It was less than a year old, so everything was new. The rehab staff was excellent. Her room was quite spacious with a TV. The food was adequate. They had activities like bingo and sing-alongs. I would recommend this facility to others if they are looking for a Medicare or Medicaid facility.
