We visited this facility on a weekly basis for over 2 years. Our aunt was there. She was well taken care of. The owners were friendly, knowledge, and compassionate. The employees were patient, caring, and pleasant. The food was home made and nutrishinous. The place was spotless and had no oder. The activities were entertaining. The rates were nominal. We were comfortable knowing our aunt was being cared for in a clean, compassionate, loving "personal care home".

My sister lives in Ridgeview Residential Care and she is very happy there. The rate is reasonable. They serve good food. The staff are very good to her. She likes it being there. She has no complaints. One thing I noticed though is that they seem not to have enough nurse's aides.

Ridgeview Residential Care is a small retirement home nestled in a quiet and normally peaceful area of Youngwood, Pennsylvania. Although the residents do not have their own room, they have a large living space to share with one roommate. They have crafts and games, and a large television in the main living room. The nurses I met did not seem extremely friendly, however. They ignored me when I said hello, and I cannot imagine they treat the residents very well, but that's how life is, sadly. I do not believe this is the nicest home, however, for a family with not a lot of extra money, this would make the perfect place.

Ridgeview is a 40+ bed personal care home that is well maintained, The decor is very relaxing and there is no 'odor' in the facility. The residents appear very relaxed and clean and are very friendly to each other and staff. They have daily planned activities (like bingo and games) and several areas inside and outside that families can have some private time. My mom has always been pleased with the meal selection. Church services are held once a week.
