I was a resident at Suburban Woods from April - November of 2020. The physical therapy staff was instrumental in helping me achieve and maintain an improved state of mobility in the aftermath of the injury that landed me there. They were the best! The entire staff, most notably the nurses and their assistants, were most helpful, and inclined to see that my needs were met and that I was comfortable. I was fed satisfying food, and admissions director in a hands-on capacity was exemplary. Needless to say, Suburban Woods receives my recommendation to anyone who is in need of the types of services they offer. Hats off to all of my therapists!

My mom needed to go to rehab because she has some slight weakness on her right arm and right leg that's why Suburban Woods Health & Rehabilitation was chosen. I am pleased with their physical therapy department. It was very large and seemed to encompass a lot of different things. Their nursing home facility was clean. There are no pleasant odors although I felt the nurses and the nurse's aide were pretty poor.

The grandmother of a business acquaintance was in this facility for quite a while. Even though it seems like some of the staff TRYS to help, many don't. There is a big turnover and they appear to be short staffed. This grandmother was very proud, and it was important for her (and of course for her family), that she was bathed and dressed each day so she could have some of her dignity in place. Sadly, on only a couple of occasions was she found out of her nightclothes or even out of her bed. She was clearly depressed and without hope since countless times she would buzz for help but hours could go by without response.
The family had no success in getting help with their concerns. I saw aides complacently turn off the lights when someone pushed a button from in their room. Recently, this woman was moved to another facility and now everyone feels some ease.
