We're trying to get my aunt to Niagara Village. It seemed like an apartment building. They were remodeling. The rehabilitated rooms were beautiful, and they seemed very homey. Stefan was amazing. He was knowledgeable and gave us all the time we needed. We never felt rushed and he was extremely informative. We did not see food or try the food, but the dining area was very nice. It did not seem like a large cafeteria or something from a hospital. They had multiple activities scheduled daily like movies, music, and Bible study, and they took the residents out for dinner and shopping.

I toured Niagara Village. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were pleasant and nice, but I would have preferred more and bigger windows. There was only one that I would have even considered. It had a large living area and a kitchen, but some of the other ones I would not be comfortable in. They had a studio, which I did not get a chance to see. I saw a 1-bedroom, and a 2-bedroom, and they all have different floor plans. Some of the two bedrooms have smaller living areas and some have larger living areas. The staff showed me one that I liked, but it was occupied and not soon to be vacated. They were being renovated, so all of the common areas were being updated with paint and carpeting. They had a small beauty salon. There were three floors and every floor had common areas that were open for all of the residents. Some had a seating area. Some had an operational fireplace. Some had a little area for religious services. They had a patio on the back. They didn't have separate libraries or game rooms, which would have been nice if they had it.

I did a tour of Niagara Village. The facility was very nice, and the staff that took us on a tour was very nice. She took about 2 hours and talked to us to show us everything. The place was well- kept, nice and clean. You can work out, they have machines and stuff for you to work out, like if you have a knee problem or anything like that. They had a patio. When we were there, it was cold and there was snow and everything. But we did go outside, and they showed us the patio and it was fine. We met one person, and he helped take care of us; he was very friendly. It was nice and clean, and everybody seemed like they enjoyed it. I was interested in their community because it was close to my house.

I visited Niagara Village, they're very well-kept. They prepare your meals, which was a plus for me, but the price is too much. The staff was very nice and the facility itself is very nice too.

We moved into Niagara Village. I like the fact that you don't have to cook. They provide all the meals. The facility is very attractive and clean. It might be a bit old, but very well kept. They have quite a few amenities. They have an exercise room if you want to use it any time. They also have scheduled activities for cardiovascular and all of that. They have things like bingo and various activities that people can participate in. The staff members are so hardworking and dedicated. They are very good. I get my hair done every week. They have a resident's store. If you want to buy snacks and different things, you don't have to leave the premises, and you can get them right there.

Niagara Village is independent living. A dining room and food are provided in the cost of your room. The rooms that I saw were nice and clean. The common areas were pretty good; they could probably have used a little bit of updating. The dining room needed some help. The chairs in the dining room were comfortable. They were very old because they were peeling, which struck me as 'Why aren't you fixing these chairs?' I would have loved to have a couple of those chairs in my house because they were very comfortable, but it seemed to me like they should have been re-upholstered because they weren't in very good condition. The gentleman that showed me around was very nice and very professional. Other members of the staff, I didn't interact with much. After I went on the viewing, I saw someone there that I knew, so I went and had dinner with him. I got to interact with some of the waitstaff in the dining room, and they were all very nice. The food was not good. I thought the food could use a lot of improvement, especially for what one pays to be there. But then again, I have done a lot of food for people and worked in food service, so I may tend to be a little bit more critical than some people. But in talking to some of the people that live there, they weren't really happy with the food either, so I guess it wasn't just me. As far as the amenities are concerned, there were no real kitchens in the rooms, but they had a refrigerator for you to keep stuff in. If you wanted to do any cooking in your own room, you would have to provide your own microwave or your own toaster oven because they have the dining room and you're paying for that. They would provide your towels and linens, and they would wash them for you. They also have physical therapy and stuff available to you, but you had to pay for that separately out of your own insurance or pocket. They provided somebody to come in and clean your apartment, so that would be a plus. They had a little exercise room. I know they have an activities director, but I didn't get to see a listing of all the stuff that they would do there.

My mom will be moving into Niagara Village. The people are nice there, they make you feel welcome. It's nice and it looks fairly new. They're updating it now. It's been around for five or ten years and already updated. My mom's room is going to be pretty much brand new, it has brand-new carpeting and brand new and refurbished cabinets. It looks really good. The dining area is nice, bright, and cheery, and the food is really good. Every meal, they have something that's the main dish, and then they have those choices to go along with it. If you don't want what's being served, they have other choices you could pick from. They have an activities board out there and there's a variety of things that you can choose to do. The food is excellent. The staff is beyond five. It's all excellent; seriously, I'm not even exaggerating. Anybody would be very happy. I would rate it a four for the value for money; none of these places are cheap.

My parents moved into Niagara Village. They provide food. They have clean and big apartments. They have a life alert, and they take care of their residents. The staff is very friendly. My parents like the food. They have bingo, a couple of different clubs, a coloring contest for Christmas, and live music. They have a courtyard.

Niagara Village is an independent living and they had people there a little longer. Their dining room was really nice. You go down for 3 meals and you sit at a table and a lot of times you sit with your own friend. You had your tablecloth and you're being served. You had many choices for a meal like if you just wanted soup and a sandwich, you could get that or you could have the main two entrees. That was fun. They had bingo and I got to be very good friends with a lot of people there. I was very sorry to have my mom leave there but, they didn't have anybody there overnight. The last person leaves at 7:30 at night, and mom is getting to the point where she needs care overnight. Before COVID, they had a juice bar, fruit bar, cookies that you could go down and get any time during the day. The meals were superb and they did a good job even with Covid. They served everybody in their rooms and that kind of thing. We love Niagara Village. It's a perfect location, the best. They're right there by the Mill Creek Mall, right off Peach Street. All the stores on Upper Peach Street. It's a very good location and easy to get to. Especially for me, because I live south of Erie and I could get there in 20 minutes. The apartments were very nice. She had a 1-bedroom there with a big bathroom and a little kitchen area with a little refrigerator. You could keep snacks and breakfast stuff in your apartment, if you didn't want to go down to eat. She had a big living room. It was nice and they had all kinds of activities. No balcony, we missed the balcony, but they have a big, huge front porch that was covered with rocking chairs and all the residents could go down there and meet and talk. They had parties at the holidays and wonderful meals at the holidays that the family could come to. We had a Christmas dinner there and a Thanksgiving that was just tremendous. It was a tad more expensive but then you got all your meals and you got housekeeping. They cleaned and you use their sheets and their towels. If you need anything, the maintenance man would come and take care of things. They had a little store where you could go if you needed anything.

Niagara Village is strictly independent living and it's very nice. The staff was very helpful. It was all independent apartments, and they were very nice. The reason we went the different route was for the ongoing care available. They had a small exercise room, a billiards room, a calendar of plenty of activities, and a social room. It was a very nice facility. They don't have onsite staff 24/7 and no skilled care available. That was my drawback, but if you don't need those things, I would rank it a 5.

My mom has moved into Niagara Village. I'm not able to visit her because she is 700 miles away. However, so far, we're extremely happy with it. I know they're doing activities, but they are limited due to COVID. They're practicing social distancing and doing maybe bingo. Also my mom has just recently moved in so she hasn't participated in too much. Meals and housekeeping are included. Towels and linens are included. My mom likes the food so far. Value for money is good.

Niagara Village was nice, and we liked it. When we got there, a problem came up with scheduling, and there was another lady there who came the same time as we did, so they took all three of us at the same time, and it was a little difficult to get answers to things. The place was very nice. The rooms and amenities were nice. The grounds were nice and the kitchen was very nice. The menu looked good.

My mother-in-law has moved into Niagara Village. It has a very warm atmosphere. It seems like the best fit for my mother-in-law. She just moved in last night. I was there during the mealtimes, and everything has a beautiful presentation. It's like you're in a high-end restaurant. The dining area is beautiful and decorated gorgeous. They have lots of other amenities, a gym, a couple of exercise machines, a library, and different activities. Last night, they had movie night. That's up on the second floor in one of their atrium areas. I'm really happy with it, and I know she will once she gets comfortable.

We will be moving into Niagara Village in two weeks. We needed a place with a short-term lease, and they gave us a 90-day lease, and we could keep renewing after 30 days. They serve three meals a day, and the chef prepares wonderful meals. The staff was super friendly and professional. They bend over backwards to accommodate us.

The food at Niagara Village was very good, and the rooms were nice and large. You have to do your own laundry, and most of the residents had their own cars. The rooms were nice. The location was in a residential place.

I'm now very satisfied here in Niagara Village. The staff is caring. My room is clean and neat. They take good care of it. They have a workout room and a computer room. So far, so good. Niagara Village is a lovely place to be, and there are a lot of lovely people here. After I saw this place, there is none that compare to it.

We went to Niagara Village and thought it was a fabulous senior place, but my mother was too old to go there. The place was very beautiful but a little dated. The people seemed to be very happy and kind. It was a great place, but she was beyond that. They had a studio that would have been perfect.

Absolutely love this place! Best thing for my mom ever whose 85 years young!

I went to Niagara Village and had a very nice tour. It was nice. The lady who brought me around and talked to me was very pleasant, very nice, very welcoming, and showed me everything, including the craft room, exercises, and activities room. I saw a studio and a one-bedroom apartment. I believed I saw the two-bedroom unit, too. She showed me quite a few. They had a beauty shop and laundry room. I was there for lunch, and the food was excellent. The staff in the dining room was excellent. They were very attentive to everybody. The activities director came out during lunch and had a few things to keep them interested, and I thought that was nice. Everybody was just very friendly. It was a very nice place.

Niagara Village was gorgeous but outrageous. It was nice, but they didn't have medical staff. The rooms reminded my daughter of a dorm room. We weren't really impressed with it at all. The kitchen in the room was just a little kitchen that didn't have a stove, just a microwave and an apartment-sized refrigerator. They just didn't have all the amenities that we found in another place. They had three meals a day, a bus that took the residents places, and a very small activity room. The few staff that I met were very nice. It wasn't a bad place, but it wasn't the place I want my parents to be in.

I visited Niagara Village. I had lunch with them and they were very kind. My objection was the average age of the people. They were too old and I am only 71 and I felt I was too young to go into that facility. I think their average was 83. The staff was wonderful and kind. I think they did a great job there. The rooms are nice and clean, and small but all these places have small rooms but you don't have other things you do, just stay in your rooms. Their food was outstanding. The dining area was perfect. It's a nice facility. It's like a 4-star restaurant. They don't have enough handicapped parking because I have a handicap plate and I couldn't find a place to park. They do everything for you, they vacuum, change your beds, everything. They also do your laundry for you.

Niagara Village so far so good. No complaints with the food. I have two bedrooms, two baths, and it is very adequate.
