Wyncote Place's memory care services provide compassionate care to help our residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia remain independent for as long as possible. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time licensed nurse is available 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. Ensuring high quality memory care is our objective and we create cultural, educational and spiritual activities to keep everyone engaged and participating. When a break from all the action is needed, comfortable lounge areas, our sunroom or garden will refresh the soul. My cousin stayed at Wyncote Place. It was very clean, loving, and warm. This is a memory care place only. The rooms were very clean. I liked them a lot. They had very nice community areas, which were very comfortable and roomy.

Wyncote Place was great. I would rate them all a 5. The building was awesome, and I wish I could put my mom there again. It's just that I can't guarantee that I would be able to pay for it. It's nice. It's all one floor, and they have an upstairs. Basically everybody in there is memory care. It is perfect for somebody who needs memory care pretty much. They had a patio and a library. A resident can just roam around because it's safe. Some of the books in the library were setup to be fake books, but they were still books that they could take. There's supervision everywhere, and they can go into the TV room and do some other activities. It allows them to feel like they're autonomous, but they're still being monitored, supervised, and kept safe. This is my second time considering them. I really liked the staff. The last time I had to temporarily place my mom there, they still called me later and asked how's my mom doing. They also gave information. They're just really, really great. I really liked that place.

My father moved into Wyncote Place. He's doing well, he's participating with the other residents, and things are good. It's a beautiful facility, it's very clean, and the staff is very attentive. They've identified a few problems with my father and they've adapted appropriately. It's very encouraging. I was there last night. They got him a wheelchair, they taught him how to use it, and he's using the wheelchair quite nicely. He was having difficulty with his bed. He was getting up by himself, but they got him an electric Hi-Low bed, and it made a world of difference for him. They're very strong on honoring the dignity of the residents, which is something that I didn't hear from other facilities that we toured, and I'm very pleased. I talked to other residents; they're very happy, they're participating and engaged, and you know they have memory care issues. I met a gentleman who was a professor and an accomplished singer and musician. I met a female doctor who is there for care, and she's very articulate. She's a resident there, and she's very pleased. Every trip back there has been very good. I arrived a bit early the other night, and my father didn't want to cut his meal short. He must really have enjoyed the food. I was looking at the people, and they were all eating the meals and seemed very happy with the food. My father, who never really played bingo, has become engaged with it now. Some of the women were working on a puzzle. They were really enjoying working on that. Some of the gentlemen were watching a baseball game.

I've been very pleased with Wyncote Place's service. I haven't seen my husband's apartment yet because of COVID. He's in memory care. He has dementia so he wasn't talking much, but he seemed to be happy, and he said the people were nice. They do fine with communicating with me, and they call me if there's a problem. I'm very satisfied with that.

My dad is well-taken care of at Wyncote Place. They were wonderful, they were in touch with us and kept us posted. The administration there, the business manager, communications marketing director, the nurse that's in charge, and the staff there could not have been more warm and welcoming. And we left there with a very comforted feeling that he's in good hands. They've been wonderful throughout this whole week and right now we're very happy with the services that he's getting. They've arranged for his physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and he has home health care that comes and checks on him. They just made it very easy for us to make this transition for dad. And they're very available to talk to us like through email, they're very accessible. Right now they have our high praises but he's only been there for a week. I'm very happy with it and so far it's been wonderful.
