I like Park Creek Place Memory Care very much. My wife seems adjusted to it well. There are not a whole lot of people there. It's the right size for her, and they are taking good care of her. I see her every day, so I see what goes on there. They take good care of the patients there. They have a lot of activities for them. She requires a bit more than most because she can't walk. She hasn't talked about the food. She mostly eats everything. It's rare, but every once in a while, she doesn't eat all of her food and she doesn't have a huge appetite. I think they have nutritionists working with them. They're not given steaks and pork chops and stuff like that, but they have beef and gravy. It's not that they're not getting meat, but they're not acting like it's a restaurant. The room had to be modified because she forgets she can't walk. One morning, she tried to get out of bed and she fell, so they rearranged the furniture because she hit her head against the nightstand. They repositioned the bed so that she can't fall out. My kids and I were going to buy her a fancy hospital bed that has rails on each side, but they said you're not allowed to have them in this particular place. We have it fixed up with the wall on one side and I bought a restraining device on the other side of the bed so that if she tries to get out, she has something to hold on to. It's in the same position that a rail would be. Her room is good. There's plenty of space for hanging up her clothes, diapers, extra bedding, and things like that inside the closet. As for the clothes that she can wear, it's adequate. I like the way the building is laid out, people can get exercise, can walk around and when the weather is good, they have a courtyard. I take my wife out into the courtyard in good weather and we sit in the sun. She has a roommate and one of the reasons I wanted her to have a roommate is because she tends to fall. She participates in singing and she did do some painting. They have them often and they have skilled people leading the activities and making them interesting. They have memory care and personal care and my wife is in the memory care section, but it's one building. They have brick walls inside. It looks like a house the way they decorated the inside of the building. It is modern. There's only one floor.

I toured Park Creek Place Memory Care for my mother. I didn't go and see the whole dining area or anything like that, but based on what I did visit, I would give it a "five." I didn't get a chance to talk to any of the residents because of COVID, but what I saw was bright. The room that they showed us was good, and the pricing was good. The staff seem to be caring. I didn't get a chance to actually look at anyone else's room; I just saw the showroom. The areas that I saw were nice. The place is right off the highway, and it's easy to get to.

I chose Park Creek Place for my husband because I just felt like the staff was especially caring. They put their mission ahead of everything else. They are very professional. They keep me in touch. They have allowed us to come and visit with him outside, but we can't do that right now because of COVID. I chose it I think mostly because of the professionalism of the staff. He really likes to eat, and he's used to pretty fine food. The facility is excellent. They are able to watch people all the time. It's very welcoming. When you come in the entrance it's like a little town or a little village. It is also a little bit smaller and more intimate than the others.

We are very impressed with every single member of the staff at Park Creek Place. Everybody is trained to the highest level in Alzheimer's care, and they couldn't be more genuine and caring. The staff is what made our ultimate decision. We were very impressed with what they offered for somebody with dementia, and this place fits our and Mom's needs. Mom seems to be quite content with the food.

My friend moved into Park Creek Place in the middle of July. It was very nice, friendly, and clean. I like their program and everything about it. So far it's good and they seem to take really good care of her. They have an occupational therapist come in, art classes, art projects, and memory games. They have a town hall meeting area and they do most of their activities there. The majority of the staff is very helpful, they answer your questions, and they're very friendly. They seem to like her. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they have snacks in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The doctor goes there.

The amenities at this facility were terrific. It had a very homelike feel. The decorations of all the residents rooms was very well done and the drapes, furniture and color choices were up to date and welcoming. The common areas were decorated attractively as well. Many of the common room decorations changed seasonally and were very well done. The central meeting area for residents and activities was set up like a town square and provided the residents with an area to interact with each other. Activities were provided on a daily basis to keep the residents active and engaged. I witnessed singing and dancing activities as well as bingo, trivia and exercises. We were frequently invited to activities like a concert or luau to help keep the residents active. The staff was very friendly and professional and seemed to genuinely care about the residents. If any problems arose with the residents the families were called immediately.

I absolutely positively love it there. It's the only place, and I've researched every place, where my mom can walk around freely. They have programs for them and they have mass for her every Sunday. Its perfect for her. I think she's been treated very well and they're just wonderful to her. The meals served there are awesome. Her hair gets done every week. I would appreciate it if they give a little bit closer supervision of when my mom gets dressed. They do it fine there but my mom changes about every three minutes. I think she seems happy there. I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone whose family has Alzheimer's. The staff is amazing and I like that she is not pinned in one small dark area.
