GREAT ADVERTISEMENTS....BUT, WHEN YOU GET THERE THE TRUTH WILL BE TOLD. THE FOOD SERVED IS IN A SPIRALING DOWN SLOPE. IT HAS REACHED THE POINT OF SERVING GARBAGE. MANAGEMENT HAS LOST THEIR INSIGHT FOR QUALITY AND LOOKING TO SERVE AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE. PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING SERVED HAS SOME TYPE OF PORK ADDED IN. SOME ETHNIC GROUPS CANNOT EAT PORK AND THEY RECEIVE NO OTHER OPTION. ANNE'S CHOICE IS INSULTING MANY VALUED CUSTOMERS . BEWARE BEFORE CHOOSING ANNE' CHOICE.

Ann's Choice was a beautiful place, but there were a couple of things we didn't like. We couldn't do the buy-in, first of all, and once you get in, you have to buy a meal plan. The second thing was, they have different activities, but you have to pay for all of the activities and stuff. It was an extra expense, and I didn't think it would be like that. Everybody seemed friendly enough. They had several model apartments open for what they offer and I love their setup. People were willing to open up their doors and let you come in. Everybody was nice. The facility was nice and well-kept. It goes from independent to assisted living. The staff was nice. It doesn't come cheap, but the food was very good and well-prepared. All the apartments came with a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. You had everything that you would need. They were spacious and well-kept. They have a common area and they would pull down a screen for movies. They have like a little general store in there where you could get things. They had facilities where the doctor would come onsite. They had the library. The grounds were very nice and you could do your morning walk there and feel secure. Everything was very nice. In the wintertime, they had a bridge where you could walk from one side of the building to the other side. They have a restaurant in there as well. You could go through the bridge in inclement weather and walk over to where the exercise facility might be or where the different activities were. You could paint and you could do ceramics. They had plenty of activities for you to do.

Ann's Choice is different because they have three clubhouses at their facility. It's a much bigger facility. They have more outside space. They had like 150 activities you could take part in. Every clubhouse has a big dining room and different activities that you can go to. The facility was beautiful. It's very expensive, but it's a very nice facility. The people we met were very friendly and nice. I know a couple of residents that have lived there for like 18 years, and they're very happy there. I only met the salespeople, and they were very friendly. The dining area was large, and it looked like they had another cafe area. They had plenty of couches on which you could sit in the lobby. The grounds were beautiful. They have gazebos out there. They are pet friendly, so you can walk your dogs in certain areas.

Ann's Choice was my aunt's favorite. It's so big, it's like 130 acres and you can get from one end of the complex all the way to the other without having to go outside. They have a pool. My aunt loves ballroom dancing. They have that there. She used to teach it, and it just caught her eyes. She has a couple friends that live there that are from the Holland area. She used to live in Holland like 25 years ago and she still has some friends, and they're in there too. So she already went and had dinner with one of them and she just was really, really liking it. They have a lot of outdoor space, they have pets and they have, and it looks like there's some lakes there or something. They have a stove, a refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. They had an exercise room, they had a hair salon, and they had an indoor swimming pool.

Ann's Choice was very nice. It was big and the apartments were very spacious. The staff was very informative and answered all our questions. We had lunch and the food was very nice. They gave you very large portions. There are a lot of amenities. They have game nights, outside trips, a pool, tennis courts, bowling, a lot of physical activities, a pub on site, a restaurant, pharmacies, a little boutique for shopping, and a hairdresser/barber. It's very spread out, depending on which building you lived in, but you're pretty much able to access any building through the covered temperature-controlled areas. You won't be exposed to the weather if you didn't want to be, although you could walk around the campus outdoors if you wanted to when the weather's nice.

My great aunt has live here for over 10 years. She is very satisfied and so am I. She has a wonderful apartment, the best medical care, and after spine surgery she received terrific follow up care and rehab at the Rose Garden. I have had many fine meals as her guest in the dining roam, and during covid I knew she was protected. It is not cheap, but my aunt and uncle worked and saved for many years to be able to care for themselves in their later years. This was their money and I am happy it is spent on their care, happiness and security not mine!

The resident rules do not apply to the residents that management likes. Management looks the other way when there is a complaint. A resident has a chiming clock outside of their unit which goes against the noise policy but no one will ask the resident to remove the clock and place it inside of their unit. Multiple complaints but no action by management. Food is horrible and arrives cold in the dining rooms. The dining staff do not care about the residents and just give excuses as does management. Cannot believe they charge for living there with all of the problems.

I visited Ann's Choice. It's a nice community, but I think it's overpriced for most people, or most may not be able to afford it. I couldn't afford it now, and I know later I won't be able to afford it. You have to have a certain amount of income for insurance and all that but it is very beautiful. They give tours and everything like that. If I had the financial means, I probably would try to go through there. It was very clean. The people that showed us around, the staff and everything, were very cordial. I saw nothing wrong with it. We had lunch that day, and the food was good.

We have moved into Ann's Choice. Everything's positive. It's kept very clean. The people are helpful. The apartments are lovely. The food is very good and medical care is good. I have nothing bad to say about it. We've only been here two weeks and I've been very busy moving out of my other house. There's plenty of activities, but I haven't had time. They have dancing, card playing, game playing, exercising, music, movies, and support groups. You name it, they have it. It's lovely, and I think they do a great job. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a good value for your money. It's a great choice. I saw a lot of places, but I don't think anyone offered what they offer here.

I have lived here for 2 years after 50 years in one house. It was a very wise decision and I would advise anyone to do it while you can still enjoy all the amenities. My apartment is gorgeous and full of light. The property is well kept and beautiful and the staff is amazing. The care we had during the pandemic was incredible.Thankfully we're getting back to normal so we can enjoy the theater,pool.library.gym.etc.The poor reviews regarding finances are ridiculous. If you have an interest in living at Ann's Choice ,you provide your financial info including your income, debts and assets and they will tell you what size apt. you can afford. If there is a dire change in your resources that were beyond your control.you will NOT have to leave. There is a benevolent fund.Management has no interest or knowledge of how I spend my money nor will they ever unless I say OOPs my money is gone. The people who say that the resident liked to be generous, don't seem to understand that first the resident must take care of their expenses. You can't siphon off the money to others and then "cry poor"

Ann's Choice was beautiful and it looked very impressive, but it's also extremely expensive. I've heard good things about them from my friends.

Not what it appears

Be wary before signing anything with this organization. The facility is not as it appears. Before signing a contract have a lawyer review as the contract is all one-sided to protect Ann's Choice and ensure in the end the keep your entrance fee. In addition security and response time for emergencies is horrendous. Again - think twice before signing.

My brother is at Ann's Choice. It's very nice, very well kept, and the people are very nice and very positive. The food is excellent. They have a gym, a swimming pool, and day trips. When you go there, you have to be independent for at least a year, and if you need assisted living, they will move you to that area. I'm looking forward to going there.

We are in Ann's Choice, and we are very happy with it. They do have assisted living and all that, but I was thinking more in terms of a memory care place. They don’t have a designated memory care although they do allow that. It is wonderful here. I definitely can recommend it. It is not cheap, but then what is cheap? They provide everything, and it is just really great. It is a large community; it is like a little town on its own. We have everything here, the meals are wonderful, the staff is great, and the activities are great. They have about 140 different clubs or groups that are run by the residents, so there is plenty to do. Or if you don't want to do that, you don't have to. There are three main buildings, and each building has sub-developed buildings in it. We call it the clubhouse, so if you have to go from one to another, everything is enclosed walkways -- glass covered walkways. I have nothing bad to say about it.

I liked Ann’s Choice very much. It had an indoor swimming pool. The entire community can be accessed indoors, you just walk from one building to the next. They have three restaurants, and one restaurant allows take-outs, so that was nice too. They have a professional chef on staff, and the food was excellent. The apartments were very nice, with good-sized closets and things like that. The people there were very nice, very friendly and helpful. They have many activities, entertainment, and bus trips.

I went to Ann's Choice. It was good. I think they're just a little bit too large. It was a 2-bedroom. Some staff was helpful. I had a problem with a social worker. I think it was organized, very nice, and very clean.
