Ashbridge Manor wouldn't be a good place for mom because she's not independent anymore, but it's very elegant. The apartment was very spacious, very clean, and very nice. The staff during the tour was very professional and very good. The food looked and smelled good. They have an indoor pool, exercise rooms, regular outings to stores, and a lot of activities for the residents.

Our experience with Ashbridge Manor has been very good. It's a rent per month. Each individual has their own apartment, and the staff cleans it once a week. Also included in my aunt's rent is breakfast and dinner. The resident needs to be ambulatory there. There are four floors, and you go up and down on an elevator. The main floor has a pool, a dining area, an activity center, and a large movie room. Most of the rooms are single bedrooms, which have very spacious closet area, a living room, a snack area, and a bathroom. If a person needs some assistance with taking medicine, they have a listed practitioner nurse on-site. They also have an occupational therapist, doctors, a dentist, a cardiologist, and a podiatrist come once a week. The dining area is very nice and has a restaurant feel to it. They have very large circular tables, so residents have assigned seats. If you don't come down, somebody will ring your room to remind you or check on you. The staff is very nice and they really try to work with you. They have a large laundry room, which is very clean. The whole facility is very nice.

I moved into Ashbridge Manor and I really like it. Its excellent. The staff and service is really good and the food is wonderful. The dining area looks like a normal dining area that has a lot of tables, and its clean and homey. I like that I dont have to cook dinner at night. I have breakfast in my room, but thats by choice. Theres a dentist thats coming next month which really helps me out, because I havent seen the dentist in years. In terms of the transportation, all I have to do is go to the front desk and tell them I have a doctors appointment at such day at such time and the transportation is provided. They have outings, like last week we went to Shady Maples. The cost is absolutely worth it.

My mom is staying at Ashbridge Manor. It's an old hotel and they renovated it. It's a little bit institutional but it's functionally nice. The staff and services are very lovely and my mom really enjoys living there. The people are very nice, helpful and accommodating. They have a lot of activities like movies, cocktail hours, meals, outings where they take a bus to another place, church service every Sunday and entertainment. They have a lot of caregivers and people who can do physical therapy. My mom says the food is pretty good. I also think it's a good value since my mom only pays $2400 a month to live there including her meals.

Ashbridge Manor was a pretty nice facility, plus it's convenient for me because I'm confined to a wheelchair. They have a big mall across the street that has some restaurants. The rooms were nice and roomy, they have several different floor plans, they are handicap accessible, they have elevators that go up to the third floor, they have an indoor pool for therapeutics and swimming, they had their own exercise facility there, a therapist on-site all the time, and doctors on-staff as well. They have the life alert system for ambulances if you're in need of help. It's a little older, but it's nice and well kept, and so are the grounds. Everything was first class. The people were very nice. Their food was great and they have a good food plan. Once you're in, your meals and everything are included in your price, which is a good deal. They have a chef there and you can order whatever you want. The staff was really nice, helpful, pleasant, and very professional. They look out for the people in that community. They provide transportation.

We visited Ashbridge Manor in Downingtown. That was our best one. I think they wanted $2,400 a month. We liked it and wanted our loved one there. I can’t say anything about the staff other than the one person who was with us, who was very nice. There was nothing fancy about it, but the rooms were perfectly sized. I liked that they had little kitchenettes, and that there were plenty of rooms. The dining room was nice. The menu was fairly varied for lunch and dinner. They would take them shopping and to casinos.

I liked the room layout and everything at Ashbridge, but I did not like the building because once you entered the front door, you had to take a long hike before you got to your room. It seemed like such a huge place. I had visited it when I was looking around last year for my sister. I liked the room layout and the orientation, but it was too far from the front door. Some of the rooms could be closer, but the building was so huge and so intimidating. The staff was very nice and friendly. I just felt lost in the place.

Ashbridge Manor met all our requirements and needs, and it was close to family. My mother hasn't moved there yet, but every one of us liked the size of the apartment she was going to have. We liked the fact that there was a swimming pool with arthritis therapy classes and that she gets two meals a day not just one, and it was reasonable.
