About This Community

At Cumberland Crossings, our residents find endless opportunities to remain active, stay healthy and age well. To us, wellness means keeping fit and strong in every way — physically, socially, intellectually and spiritually. We believe staying engaged with people is very important to overall wellness, so we make it easy. Games, card clubs, book clubs arts and crafts sessions, interesting presentations, education, special events and scheduled trips are just a few of the many planned activities we offer.

As a continuing care retirement community, we provide a full range of exceptional lifestyles: independent living, personal care, traditional nursing care and rehabilitation meaning you are in control of your lifestyle no matter what happens.

While Cumberland Crossings is a retirement destination, it is so much more than just a place to spend retirement years – it’s a place to engage . . . it’s a place to relax . . . it’s a place to live among others who share similar interests. It’s no wonder why our residents say, “This is the Way to Live!”

I was a rehab patient here. The nurses, nurses aids and physical therapists did an outstanding job. The facility is kept very clean thanks to the housekeeping department. The kitchen is what puts this place over the top. Outstanding job in the kitchen! I would recommend this rehab to anyone in search of great care. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!

We have found Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community for my father. His apartment is nice and a little small, but the location is very good. All the amenities are right there. They've got walking trails, they keep birdfeeders out the windows, the cable is pretty good, and the food is pretty good.

We saw older people exercising in a room at Cumberland Crossings, while others were sitting and reading books in a family living room. They had a swimming pool. They don’t have enough staff member for all of the residents that are getting older, but they tried their best with the number of people they had to work with.

Cumberland Crossings was very nice, but they didn?t have any occupancies nor a memory care unit. They have skilled nursing and regular assisted living or personal care. It was the most expensive of all the place I saw, and it was closer to where my parents live in Carlisle. It was very clean and very bright. The lady that I spoke with was very nice, very helpful, and answered my questions.

My Aunt gets her care there, but I do wish she got more exercise, but I do understand its hard when someone is not only wheelchair bound, but mentally handicapped. She has access to vending machines where she over-indulges, but I guess for someone her age they should let them be happy. She's always clean, and the staff personally engages with her and know all about her.
