They offer so many fun activities. It’s great that my loved one doesn’t have to worry about meals, laundry, cleaning or the daily tasks he struggled with. He is enjoying time visiting and talking with his new friends. It is a clean facility with many friendly faces.

We had an in-person tour of Colonial Courtyard at Bedford. They were very accommodating and showed us everything. The people seemed happy talking to us. The facility was clean. They had very nice accommodations. The people took the time to sit with me and get to know my mother. They showed us the kitchen, and people were eating. They have an activity center, a library, and a TV room. They had everything. It looked like somebody in assisted living would enjoy it.

We liked Colonial Courtyard at Bedford, they just couldn't take my mom because of the lesion on her foot. I like the fact that it was more of a community, not like when you think of other old people's homes, it's a place to be active. Everything about their courtyard, the people are very active. It was a community that I liked and thought my mom would thrive in. I like their community atmosphere, and the people seemed caring. The staff that I met there are very caring and seemed to be friends with the residents. Everything was very clean and very nice.

Colonial Courtyard at Bedford was very nice, clean, and well appointed. The girl that walked us through was very nice and very knowledgeable. Mom liked them because she knew some people in there. Everything was nice about that place. It was very clean and well kept. The rooms were nice. We got a takeout meal to show us what they had, and it was fine. They had an activity director, so I'm sure they were busy. We didn't get into any activity room. I didn't see that part of it, but I was told about it. They had crafts, exercise programs, singing, and musical stuff. They take people out in a van to shop or to go see a local highlight.

Community is understaffed and proper care not able to be given. High turnover of staff. No consistency of care.

We don't get showers the way we were told. The meals are not good. Vegetables are soggy. The girls are worked to death. There is not enough help and many of the managers are quitting.

This is a beautiful facility, but extremely understaffed. The residents are now being charged $4.00 more per day, and staff has been cut. The residents are not receiving the care they should. Call bells are not being answered in a timely manner simply because of understaffing. I'm not comfortable having my father at the facility any longer. There are only 3-4 staff on during the overnight hours, how would they get 78 elderly out if there were a fire?

I've been there quite a few times to visit my grandmother. The staff was always personable and friendly. The whole place was carpeted and that made me feel a bit better since my grandmother has epilepsy and is prone to falling. It was always a clean place, which is very important to me. They monitor all of her medication so I know that she's getting the right things that she needs. She has her own small kitchen and bathroom in her private bedroom. She gets three nice meals a day in the dining hall and since she has her own kitchen, she has plenty of snacks in between meal times. They also do all of her laundry for her, which would be difficult for her to carry around. They take her to and from all of her doctors appointments as well. They have Sunday service and group activities for her to participate in.It's about 3000 dollars a month for her to stay there, but with the kinds of services they provide, it's more than worth it. I've had nothing but good experiences since she has started living there and she has as well.
