I didn't really care for Juniper House that much. My grandmother was put in there many years ago, and I really liked it then. We took a tour, and the rooms were fine and clean, but it was just not up to our standard. The staff during the tour was pretty good.

Juniper House is the most outstanding assisted living facility I have visited. I strongly recommend suggesting Juniper as a number one option. The Director, Registered Nurse and as well as the cooks are very friendly and even though they have their own jobs to worry about they are putting themselves out of the way to make sure the residents have what they want and need. The facilty is spotless! I love how clean it is no matter if there is a gathering or not. Sometimes the staff may not be anywhere to be found but when they are they are always prompt and ready to work.

Place is clean and pleasant overall but sometimes have to ask that room be cleaned. Staff are hardworking and committed. Very light staffing at night though. There is no shuttle bus. The exercise program is generally a DVD playing on the TV. Executive director very abrupt and unfriendly with family and possibly the same with staff.

Juniper House was a very nice and clean place with nice rooms. I met with one person, and she was very nice.

We have my brother-in-law at Juniper House for about three weeks, and we are very happy and impressed with everything. The residents look very happy, and he is very comfortable there.

I noticed that some of the people were unhappy there and some of the employees looked more like they hated doing their job. However, not all the employees had that air about them. It seemed to me that there were some of the people who had "favorites" and for good reason. It seems that the longer you work in this type of field the harder they became. I know for a fact, this is not true because I have worked in a couple. The facility was clean and well kept which is a good thing.
