My review:. The food is nothing what Compass advertises. It says ~ Their dining experience will tickle your tongue with homemade meals made from scratch, healthy & delicious. This food is full of carbs not a heart healthy or low fat or good for diabetics. The food they serve is frozen prepared cardboard, unhealthy, the cheapest they can buy. Very small portions and good luck on seconds. Now they also want to charge $5 to the ones that can't make it to the kitchen, for the kitchen to walk it upstairs. Then when they do get it - cold cold.
They leave soiled trash in halls for 30mins on up and yes it smells the hallway up. Also, Med Techs they get 3 days, basically 24hrs of training to hand out meds. After that they are on their own with med cart/keys. Sometimes they will forget a pill or two and you ask where is it. Sometimes it needs reordered/they can't find it or the just forgot. We had caring staff then they got rid of them-became short staffed with sometimes 2 care partners for 75 resident daytime and 1 at night. No more caring just interested in money

It is pretty good. They are very friendly, and it seems to be a good community for Dad. He's in a large studio with a large bathroom, a walk-in shower, a little kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave, a lot of windows, and a lot of light. They can take Dad downstairs for his meals or take the food to his room. They have a billiards room, bus rides, and quite a few other activities available every day. They have two maintenance people who are very helpful, but housekeeping is a little under par. The food is pretty good and include a few choices. Dad enjoys breakfast and dinner.

We like it here. We moved in about a week ago. It is a new community, and I like it a lot. They serve three meals a day, but I only eat in the evenings. The taste of their food is fine, but they overcook their vegetables. The staff is wonderful; I only have good things to say about them. The apartment that we have is very nice, although very small. I love the apartment, though. It is wonderful. The entire facility is very clean. They have transportation and a driver if we need to go somewhere.

I visited the community for my mother. It was clean, new, and nice. When the staff asked if we want to put a deposit to hold a room, I felt that was kind of a little pushy especially after we had said that we are just checking out various places at this time. Otherwise, she was courteous. The facility was very new, but to me it was a little "too-new" feeling; it didn't feel it has been there awhile. It is near a hospital. It looked nice, and the rooms were nice. My overall experience with the visit was fine.

I felt the staff was knowledgeable, they answered any questions we had -- which were not very many -- and we were pleased with the layout and the location. It was nice. They had music, there were movies and different things that were going on, and there was some trip they were getting ready to go on at that time.

It looks very nice, very welcoming, and quite open. The dining room is lovely. I have only seen one or two private rooms, and they seem well. I know quite a few of the staff, so I know that they are very adequately cared for. Once a month, our senior center has a potluck dinner, and they bring a bus over for people who want to or are able to come; they mix with other communities. What impressed me most is its cleanliness and the open atmosphere.

It had beautiful apartments and it was very fancy. The only problem was that when we ate there, the food was good, but the service was very slow. It had the nicest apartments of any of them, and he liked the food. The meat was very tender, so he liked that. The staff, when they talked to us and the ones that interviewed him, was very friendly and helpful, so that was nice.
