Clackamas View Senior Living is located in Milwaukie, OR, a southern suburb of Portland. We have 25 apartments with licensed capacity for 40 seniors. We are located in a very beautiful and peaceful neighborhood on one and one-half acres with unmatched views of the Oregon mountains including great views of beautiful Mount Hood. The community was totally remodeled and expanded in 2012.
All apartments have private bathrooms. In addition to a beautiful parlor, dinning room, and media area, there are also large redwood decks where residents can gather to soak up the sun, enjoy the gorgeous views or visit with family and friends.
Clackamas View Senior Living offers a wide range of assistance and services for residents. Care for residents and assistance with activities of daily living are overseen by our full time licensed nurse. We have awake-staff on duty 24 hours a day to provide assistance as needed according to each resident’s individualized service plan.
Our chefs prepare delicious home-style meals which are served in our comfortable dining room. While there you will enjoy soft background music and brightly colored fish swimming in the large salt water aquarium. Nutritious snacks and refreshing beverages are available whenever you desire.
Our staff is special too. They are well trained and make a great effort to make you feel comfortable, safe and happy. The building is sprinklered throughout for your safety and every apartment is equipped with an emergency response call system that ensures that help is just the touch of a button away.

Clackamas View Senior Living was a little bit rundown. It seemed a little dark, but it had great views of the valley, and there were several decks around the building that the residents could go out on that were nice. It had the fewest amount of rooms of any of the places that I looked at and half of them were empty, so there weren't a lot of residents in the facility. My mom is very social, so that would not be a good place for her, but if somebody liked being alone more, I think that would be a nice place for them. The staff was nice and good. Their activities schedule seemed a little lacking, at least for my mother's needs.

I recently visited this senior living. Its a lovely quiet environment. The staff seems well trained and ready to answer all our questions. The residents looks happy. The lovely thing about this place is there lovely outside deck, its a great place to sit and enjoy the weather. Another thing I noticed during our visit was that the staff were quick to respond to residents needs when they call for help. We won’t be moving my dad in here because it’s smaller and they don’t have a kitchenette which we will prefer.

I toured Clackamas View Senior Living. They're nice people. They're a little older, smaller facility than what my sister was looking for. It looked very clean. They have a deck and a couple of different spaces, but not as much as the other facilities. It's just a little smaller and older, and my sister wanted a larger, more open, airy, and newer facility. It's not broken down or anything, it's just older and not as modern. They had three choices of rooms of different sizes, and they were all good sizes. They seemed like good rooms.

I visited Clackamas View Senior Living. It's smaller. It looks maybe more oriented to a smaller group of people, so I think they probably are a little more attuned to who is there, they know them well, and they can take care of them according to whatever their needs are. I haven't witnessed any activities, but my understanding is that they have somebody that comes in and does some activities with them. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to be interested in getting to know us and what kind of needs that my sister would have. The place was very clean and well-maintained. While we were there, there was somebody working there just attending to any little details that needed to be taken care of. However, they don't have any parking there. It's very limited in parking.

Clackamas View was very nice and very open with a small resident population. There were only 24 or 25 people there. We were able to check two of the rooms and decided to check the largest one at the very end of the building. It's very secluded, quiet, and had a view of the outside.
