About This Community

Grande Ronde is an Independent Living & Assisted Living community that provides exceptional person-centered holistic care to residents. Whether your loved one needs help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) or simply wants to enjoy the company of fellow seniors in a great location, our team can help.

Located in the heart of Union County, our community is warm and cozy. Whether your loved one is moving in from Cove, Elgin, Baker, or anywhere else, they'll feel right at home at Edmonds Landing.

Independent living means you or your loved one can complete many everyday activities of daily living, but prefer access to a broader social community. When you enroll in an independent living program at one of our senior living communities, you gain access to a network of other people similar to your fellow independent seniors who enjoy the company of new friends and exciting social activities.

Access to care staff is where the value truly lies in assisted living. Residents living in assisted living facilities live in their own private rooms while receiving extra help with many different medical services from specialized care providers. These hospitality and healthcare staff members monitor residents' well-being and help keep them healthy.

We visited Grande Ronde Retirement. The rooms were nice and big. The looked at possible apartment for my mother. We looked at a studio and a one-bedroom. The rooms were vacant, but they were clean. The residents looked fine. One of the rooms I saw had a kitchen area. They had parking. It was a nice place, but our mom was not ready to move in their little apartment.

My first thought when entering was noticing how clean the place looked, I was impressed at the light colored walls with subdued, understated art on the walls that made it not look like an "old folks home" or a hospital so much as just an enclosed community. The "rooms" are small, but tidy and sufficient for the residents to have their belongings, most of my grandmothers furniture and possessions fit in her room. The room she had included a lovely view of the grounds, from a large picture window in the living room, that let lots of light in and made the place cheery. The staff appeared to be very cheery and friendly, and although I only had limited contact with them, they seemed to treat my grandmother very well while she was recovering from her illness, and she remained there until she found an acceptable private residence afterwards. Bottom line, I would have no reservations about sending another family member to live there, or living there myself, should I decide to retire to the area.
