My mother just moved into Regency Woodland. The service is fine, and she loves it there. They play bingo and made cookies and had candies for them on Valentine's Day. She likes the ladies that live there with her. She has neighbors next door who come and visit with her. There's a nurse on-call who gives her medications, so there's always someone to help her. There are strings in all the rooms that they pull if they need help. They're really good and they respond quickly. She's picky, but she likes their food. The facility looks really nice. They accept Medicaid, which was helpful to us. They are pet friendly. The rooms are nice, and she is in a two-room, which really made her happy.

I toured the facility about a month ago and after speaking with the executive director and the business office manager i quickly realised that this was the right place for my mom. With a small community and the ability the staff has to keep a close eye on my mom and the other residents.. I really feel like it is a home for her and not a facility. I love that the informed me that there would be a period of adjustment for mom and not to worry.. That she would soon become acquainted... They were spot on. I love regency woodland and their staff.

My wife was in Regency Woodland and it was a very nice facility. It had very nice people. They were well educated and very well trained to do their jobs. Their amenities were very similar to the one my wife's staying now. They had nice dining rooms. I definitely would recommend them to others. If they wanted a place to go where a person wasn't really sick, but needed assisted living, that's the place to go.

My wife and my sister did a lot of research about Regency Woodland. It's fairly elegant, very clean, and they offer an al a carte system of care. She used to live in a really elegant care facility, but she got to the point where they couldn't care for her anymore. But here, if mom gets worse they'll be able to provide more advance nursing services. The staff is very helpful. One of the reasons we liked this facility is it's actually much smaller and doesn't have that many patients or rooms, so they can give patients more individual attention.

Regency Woodland has been a friendly, safe, caring home for my mother for nearly two years. It is small (30-some units) so residents, staff and families really do get to know and enjoy each other. The food is delicious and the environment nicely designed and decorated. The staff does not constantly change -- I have known some of the caregivers for years. I especially appreciate their patience, respect, kindness and good cheer. They always make time to talk with me and give mom their full attention. They greet me and mom by name. They attend to problems quickly. The caregivers and staff seem to be a good, fun- loving team. On family and friends dinner night, they dress for the theme. (I believe Elvis attended the 50's dinner!) There is a hair salon on site and a nice range of activities. I wish we could look after Mom at home but Regency Woodland is the next best place. Five stars in my book.

My mother was living here and recently died there. She received good care but when she died one of the care givers removed her wedding ring and said they put it on a bedside table. Why?? The mortuary did an inventory and it was signed by the caregiver when they picked her up. There was no wedding ring in the inventory. When we found out, we felt crushed. We felt violated and what a sad day to tell the granddaughter who was promised the ring that it had been stolen off her dead grandmother. Had we known that someone needed some financial assistance, we would have gladly helped them. Stealing is unexcusable. This really shadowed over our goodbyes to my mom and our celebration of life. I would never recommend this facility. They violated our trust and violated our mom after her death.
I hope the police are able to solve this case, but doubt we will ever get the ring back.
