Ashley Manor Care Centers was wonderful. The nurse was a genuinely cheery person, helpful, showed me everything that was in there, talked to the clients along the way, they're hugging on to her and she introduced me to them. It was just really homey, and it was a very nice feel the minute you walked in. The rooms were a little bit smaller than one of the fancier places. It was a surprise visit and it's clean as a whistle in there. The people working there were cheerful, competent and helpful. The living room was very large and that's where all the clients were. The kitchen was right there with no doors. It feels good to me because if somebody's in there cooking all day, I want to make sure my loved one is taken care of. They do individual meals if they want to, but people can bring in their own food for their loved ones. Everybody just seemed to be really at ease there.
