We toured The Suites Assisted Living & Memory Care. People were friendly. They were following the COVID protocols. It was a nice facility. It looks like it could use a little bit more care and upkeep and a little less clutter. It felt claustrophobic because the ceilings are lower. Instead of 9-foot ceilings, they were just barely 8, and it was a claustrophobic feeling. They had less professional-looking employees, too. The exterior of the building was well-kept. The interior of the building needed more maintenance and some of the residents' areas, where they can do games or activities, were a little cluttered.

My mother is in The Suites Assisted Living & Memory Care, it's very nice and clean. Her room is very spacious and it's updated, and it's very clean. The staff members are attentive and they try and help her, she just doesn't let them all the time. They're in contact with me all the time to let me know how she's doing. They're the ones who recommend that she would go over to memory care. I've seen that they've had art classes, they do outings on a bus, they take them shopping, they have music, and people come in and stuff like that. Mom says the food is very good but I haven't tried it. In terms of value for the money, it's very expensive.

The tour we had with Suites Assisted Living & Memory Care worked out great because they're an all inclusive care unit. We looked at a one-bedroom apartment and it was very nice, very big, very spacious, very clean, and the facilities looked really clean. The dining area looked clean too, and a lot of the other function rooms that they have were really nice, and very well-decorated.
The guy that was supposed to meet us wasn't there. Something came up and he couldn't make it. So, one of the other caregivers who knows about the facility gave us the tour, and talked to us all about the things they offer, things that they do and take care of. She was very informative, knew a lot of that, and so we felt really comfortable talking with her, because she was able to answer our questions. The only thing she couldn't obviously answer, and we could not talk to yet, was about all the financial side of things, but we will have another meeting with that guy to go over all that.
They would have to bring their own furniture because the apartments were unfurnished. It's got air conditioning in it, so it would help keep the room nice and cool during these hot days. We were very impressed with them. They also had outside grounds where residents could go out and sit. We could not go physically into the cafeteria or anything like that because of COVID. So, they wouldn't allow us to go into certain areas. There's a bunch of activities that they do as well. They take people out on outings, like in Seven Feathers, and other functions. They'll have people come in to play music and sing, they'll have game nights, and just a bunch of different things that they do. My dad would totally be engaged.

My Mother has been in the Suits since January 2016, and I had concerns about her care and wel being.
Last month my son and I visited her and my concerns were put at ease. Every one we met was very nice and genuinely concerned about the residents there.
We decided to have lunch with her on Wednesday and it was the best meal we had in Grants Pass. The food was well prepared, very good and served by professional people who cared about the quality and taste. I was like eating in an up scale restaurant, no kidding!
I now know that my Mother is in a professionally run facility where it is clean, well maintained and staffed with caring individuals. The staff wants to make their stay as pleasant and memorable as humanly possible.
Thank you to everyone.

My uncle is at The Suites Assisted Living. It seems to suit him fine, but it’s very expensive. The staff is very friendly, and there is a lot of interaction with the residents. They are taking good care of him. They do have activities, but I don’t think he participates in those.

I just visited The Suites Assisted Living and was HIGHLY impressed! We have toured all of the assisted living buildings in Grants Pass. The Suites Assisted Living is at the top of the list! The whole idea of moving has been very difficult on my parents, but The Suites eased their mind. The building was clean and smelled great. There were residents out and about (that cannot be said anywhere else we looked), the staff were very friendly and every single one said "Hello" as we passed them in the hallways. You could hear staff engaged with the residents laughing and conversing. The price is expensive but as a buyer and businessman myself, I know you get what you pay for. They were very comparable in price when you look at the big picture. Our family is very happy with our choice!

I visited the Suites Assisted Living, and I was grossly disappointed. It was very expensive. You can have your own apartment or studio, they give you the three meals, and they have a lot of activities, but it didn't smell clean, and I didn't like the looks of some of the staff that I saw, so I couldn't justify why they were so expensive. But they do different levels. As you require more care, you could be moved to a level that provided that. It wasn't as attractive as some of the others, but it was very functional, it had lots of windows, and everybody seemed perfectly comfortable and happy there. It gave me the impression of a nursing home. It just wasn't an atmosphere that I wanted to live in. The only room I saw was a studio, and it was not bad. It was a large room, but it's one room. There were no outside cottages on the ground; it was all in one building, but there was, at least, two levels of available living space.

I've checked out some assisted living facilities online and The Suites Assisted Living was on the top of the list. That would be where I would go. It was very clean. The staff was very cordial. The food was good and the dining room was set up just like a restaurant. They did give me a schedule of what activities they have like crafts, cards, aerobics, etc. They had a wide range of activities.
