Fox Hollow has an older clientele, and there were many people with walkers. It didn't seem like it would be overwhelming for my mother, and it seemed that she could stay there until she needed memory care. This was a better fit for her. They played bingo, and she liked that.

Fox Hollow was where we were going to place my mother-in-law. After doing a thorough assessment, they said that they could take her but didn’t feel it’s the best fit. It’s just independent and assisted living, and they felt that Dorothy was a step above assisted living. It’s very nice. We visited Fox Hollow last year for a caregivers’ dinner. We were very impressed with it and the staff that we met there.

I came in as a Christmas caroler a couple of years ago to bring up the spirits of the residents that specifically didn't have family to share the Holidays with; I have a good friend that works at Fox Hollow as well. I have always loved this facility and was just more impressed when I went in the building for myself. The facilities were beautiful, lots of open space and landscaping. I was very impressed with the staff and their friendliness. I loved the people and the atmosphere. The building was clean and inviting, making the residents and their families feel right at home. The staff is readily prepared with anything that is needed by the residents be it immediate or not immediate. The food smelled amazing and I am sure that the residents feel like they are really taken care of. I absolutely cannot sing the praises of this assisted-living facility enough. Love it!

Fox Hollow seemed like a warm, caring, clean facility. It seemed to have everything necessary for an older person who isn't able to live on her own anymore. However, it wasn't set up for someone who still wants a small kitchen in her own apartment (all the units just had a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster). It also did not have any units with bathtubs. I understand that people who can't lift their feet very high have a hard time getting into and out of a bathtub, but some people just aren't there yet and would enjoy having a bath in their apartment. Finally, the units seriously lacked storage. A few walk-in closets would have made all the difference.
