My mom and dad moved into Meadowbrookplace three months ago. I was touched by the warmth and kindness mom and dad were greeted with. The facility feels like home,very clean and inviting. There are always activities for the residents to enjoy. I am here just about every day, so I know that the friendliness of the staff is not put on once in awhile. I find everyone’s helpfulness to be genuine and true.

Meadowbrook Place is located at 4000 Cedar Street in Baker City, Oregon. They have Caregivers, Med-Aides, Nurse, Doctor, and management staff. Meadowbrook Place has a van to take residents to and from appointments. Baker City Transit also runs daily by the facility. There is also Community Connections which operates the Senior Center a half mile away. Community Connections offers seniors activities and have a bus to take seniors to any local destination. Shopping is also located right next to the senior facility. The Caregivers and Med-Aides are staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They both assist residents in bathing, bathroom visits, laundry, and helping residents to the dining area for meals. The Med-Aides also assist in medicine distribution. The Nurse and Management typically work Monday through Friday, but are on call evenings, nights, and weekends. The Doctor is on call Monday through Friday. There is a professional staff at St. Alphonsos Hospital located within a mile from Meadowbrook Place. The rooms are studio and one bedrooms with the entire staff cleaning the rooms on a weekly schedule and as needed.
