As I drove up, I noticed it was quiet, clean, and the other residents were friendly. I noticed that there is a church right across the small parking lot which is perfect for my grandmother who likes to attend church on Sunday mornings. I met the assistant manager who was very nice and professional and we discussed the usual information like how much it cost to stay there, what was offered, etc. Then we got a small tour of the facility and saw the library, puzzle room/laundry, beauty parlor, living room, and the hall where they have a piano and a kitchen. They have a maintenance man on staff and is available for lighting pilot lights, fixing light bulbs, and general upkeep of the facility. Also, there is a school right across the street and the kids sometimes come over as a class and meet with the residents. Overall it was a nice place and my grandmother loved the atmosphere and already made a friend. Oh, they do allow pets under certain conditions which is similar to an apartment complex.
