My Grandmother was a resident at Covenant Living for 6 years. She lived in independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing. I would NOT recommend this facility for anything other than independent living. If your loved one can care for themself, it's fine. The apartments are expensive, but very nice. If they need more care, please keep looking! My Grandmother received moderate care at best. Most of the time her care was subpar. I was on the phone with her on more than one occasion when the staff didn't know I was there and the way they treated her was NOT good. I tried on a couple of occasions to get my Grandmother to move, but she was in her 90's, and she was tired. She didn't want to move again. Please do your research. Don't just go on a tour. They will show you only the good. Drop by in the evening or on the weekend, and you will see a better picture of what the residents deal with. My Grandmother did have a few caregivers who were amazing. But the vast majority were not. You would think that for the buy in cost plus the monthly cost, you would get a high level of care. Not so here.

I am responding to the review by Tulsaman. There is an old adage in business that says, "If you really want to know what's going on, pay attention to the people closet to the action."
I am an 11 year resident of Inverness Village and I strongly take exception to what Tulsaman said. I, and everyone I know out here, are totally pleased with communication with the staff and administration of IV. The food, in all of our dining venues is excellent! There are two doctors on staff and are available several times a week as well as a host of nurses and other healthcare workers. In my 11 years here, I have never seen anyone move out quickly. Some have passed within months of coming to IV, but they had health challenges when they came. The monthly rates here are very competitive with other high end CCRS in Tulsa and the vast range of services and amenities provided by the monthly fees is impressive. Again, I am someone closet to the action and I LOVE Inverness Village. I only wish I had come 3-4 years earlier!

Inverness Village was a fancy place with beautiful apartments and great amenities. It was like a village with a number of different areas. The apartments were large, very well appointed, and well maintained. The grounds were well maintained. The staff was fantastic. The food was great.

We did tour Inverness -- which is extremely expensive -- but we got the whole tour. We saw the dining hall, the swimming pool, game room, and a big dining hall. There was a place for programs to take place, a library, and it’s very impressive. It’s a retirement community and so you buy into it, an apartment, duplex, or a cottage -- that’s the highest level -- but we decided it was not for us. It was a large community with a big community building and lots of grounds. They could even have a little garden, and it’s very nice, very attractive. If someone had lots of money, it would be just the right place to go. They had a plot for the residents to plant their little piece of the garden, the landscaping was gorgeous, and it was the community where they had a guardhouse so anybody going in had to stop at the guardhouse and be inspected there.
