We have chosen The Renaissance of Stillwater for my mom. I was very happy with it. The Renaissance of Stillwater happened to be the first of the three tours, and I liked it so much that I didn't even want to look at the other ones. I was very satisfied with it. The bonus is that it is just a little over a mile from where I live now, and that makes it easier. I looked at a room, and I liked it so much. It just seemed to be perfect, and it's super clean. I was impressed with the backdoor where my mom can step out and see the outdoors as a patio. The dining room looked splendid, it's like a fancy restaurant. The convenience, the walk-in shower with this ceramic bench in it, the pull strings by the toilet, and then the little microwave and the refrigerator in the kitchen area, so it looks so nice. The closet is huge, and it is perfect. I'm very, very impressed. The director is fantastic and the staff is nice too. Everything is just right. They have a pond in front. My mom grew up on a farm. The scenario is perfect for her. I met five of the staff members. The director introduced me to five of them, and I thought that was very nice, too. They were very nice and very cordial, and so I feel complete confident that it's the right place. Her room is spotless, her living area is spotless. My mom hasn't moved in yet even though it is her room now. Once I saw this, it was perfect for her, and I knew she would like it, and so I stuck with it.

My mom is now at The Renaissance of Stillwater. It's the most affordable to us. The staff seems to be cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. The food is adequate. We're able to see the facility because of the move-in allowance time. Other than that, it's under quarantine and it's restricted access. The facility looks very nice. We're not really into the activities as of yet. When my mom moved in, she was placed in quarantine to make sure she didn't have the virus moving in. She has been confined to her living space. They put out a newsletter that said on this day they'll play bingo, on this date they have board games, and on this day they have an exercise program. There are some activities for her to participate in. My mom's room is nice. It appeared to have new carpeting when she moved in. The blinds were broken and it didn't have TV access initially, but those items have been taken care of. It has a nice walk-in closet for her clothes. We had an issue with the bathroom floors being a little sleek, but that's been taken care of as well. The staff have been very accommodating. However, the price is extremely high.

The Renaissance of Stillwater is awful. They're understaffed, but the staff members do the best they can. Sometimes, the call buttons don't work. If you do push the call button, you might have an hour or two response time until they come by. They need to improve on housekeeping too. I would never recommend anyone put a family member in this place. My father took a fall Friday night, but I was not contacted and told that he had fallen. He should be dead by the end of the week due to the fall.

The Renaissance was the facility we liked the best. It was very clean and they were very pleasant. The place was very well laid out, they gave us options for where we can be located in terms of the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything looked very nice, and it's very accessible.

My mom would be moving to The Renaissance of Stillwater. I liked that they had a lot of structured social-kind of activities, which I thought would be good for my mom. The staff seemed friendly and supportive. I thought they did a good job, as far as I could tell. They had you do the things you can. I also made sure that we were not tied into a long contract. It was month-to-month, so I could take mother out, if I was not satisfied.

I believe that The Renaissance of Stillwater is an amazing facility that deserves to be noted for its caring atmosphere. All of the staff at the assisted living facility were knowledgeable and willing to provide any and all assistance to the residents. The facilities are very hotel-like and always remain clean and pristine. The residents' rooms or "apartments" were kept clean and tidy and had plenty of room to keep the residents comfortable in their new environment. The facility is located on a beautiful property that has a picturesque pond, a walking path, and benches to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff makes sure to keep the residents involved with the surrounding community by involving them with the local university, Oklahoma State, and bringing them to sporting events at the university as well as social events at the local community center. Of all of the assisted living facilities that I have seen and heard of, The Renaissance of Stillwater seems to provide top-level care and assistance to the community's older adults.

Upon going to The Renaissance of Stillwater I could tell from the moment I pulled in the parking lot, that this was a nice facility. The facility is very inviting and relaxing. In front of the building is a pond where the residents of the facility can go and feed the fish. The pond it very well kept up and looks so inviting it would make any person that likes outdoors love to have a pond like this. When entering the building the atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. I noticed the times that I have been here that this facility has a lot of activities in which the residences may participate in. I could not help overhearing some of the residence speaking of how nice the nursing staff was. I believe the Nursing staff is a outsourced company, but wow, I have never seen group of people so caring and concerned for the well being of the residence. I can only hope in my later years I can be at a place as nice as this place. I cannot put into words enough of how much I really liked this place.

When I visited this assisted living center to see an old friend I was impressed. The facility was clean and inviteing and the staff were very friendly an helpful. Their was a meal cooking witch smelled very good looked even better. Their are many open places in the building with nicely placed chairs for residents to sit in and talk. Their were also many tables setup with various activities set up from board games tonpuzzles that residents were activly engaged in and haveing fun doing. The rooms were well furnished and seemed very cozy. The residents I talked to seemed very happy to be there and were all happy and talkative. The only complaint I heard was that the facality was slightly understaffed at times. This was not apparent just by visiting the building and the people I talked to did not seem to concerned about the problem but some were more concerned than others. All in all this is a good facality and seems like a nice place to live. I gave it four stars out of five because of the slight lack of staff.
