I placed my mom in the Primrose Retirement Community of Shawnee. They have been awesome. Everyone there is just so welcoming and friendly, and they give my mom so much attention. All of them from the CNAs and up are just wonderful. I just can't say enough about them.
From what my mom said, the food is really good. It's not gourmet or anything like that, but it's very high quality and there's a big variety.
They have so many activities and every day they're doing something. They have a movie night every night because they have a little theater there. They do crafts too and they do outings to different places. They're wonderful.
She has a 1-bedroom apartment and it's nice. It's very spacious for a one-bedroom too. She's in a wheelchair and using a walker, and there's room for her to move about. It's nice. She's in their assisted living.
