Someone told me about the Park Village Retirement Community, so I looked it up and went there. I visited on a Saturday and it didn't seem like they had so much activity on their agenda. There wasn't much friendliness or camaraderie. They should have more activities planned, so residents could intermingle with each other. One woman was home and she let me look into her apartment. It was very small and more like a studio because you had to walk through the bedroom to get into the bathroom. I'd have to sell my refrigerator and dryer, which means I'd have to spend money every week on doing my laundry. And I'd have to give up so much if I were to move in there. The good thing about it though is that I don't have to worry about my house or cutting the grass and stuff like that.
