Making the choice to put your loved one in an assisted care facility is terrifying. You worry about the care they'll receive. You worry about their safety. You worry about everything! I can tell you from experience, this place will put your mind at ease. Its a bit expensive, but its worth it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The manager at the front desk was always so nice. My family member loved the food. My family member didn't choose to go on "field trips" but I would see many residents going out to various places. I hope I can afford to be a resident when I need assisted care!

We are going to move my mom into Wellington Parke. I have moved her stuff in but she is in the hospital right now, so she has not physically moved in. When she comes out of the hospital, she'll be going to the new place. I have been there in person a couple of times, but I have not been able to go inside the building because of COVID 19 restrictions. I could see the outside and I talked to the lady. And when we took her stuff there, the truck driver just unloaded the stuff and left it outside of the building. Their maintenance crew took it inside and they opened the boxes and set up her room for her and all of that, and then, they sent us pictures. They provide two levels of assistance: The minimal assistance and that's what my mom is going in for right now. Then they have a maximum assistance, which costs a little bit more. I suspect that my mom will get picked up into the maximum assistance pretty quick because she is just needing more assistance. I have had interaction with two different people on the staff and both of them were great. One of them was a nursing type and she was talking to me about the various medicines and things that my mother was on because part of their first level of assistance is to provide medicine to people. Even though my mom has been doing her medicine herself, when she gets to Wellington, they will be doing her medicine for her, like giving it to her each day at the right time. Then the other person is the coordinator that I have been doing most of my communication with, and she was just super great. She has really helped me to figure out how to get all of the things done that needed to be getting done for me to get her in there. Everything is one floor. They looked like they were well maintained, manicured, and looked fine. It is very close to I-40, so getting in and out of it is pretty easy. They are just now going to open and allow some limited visitation in a specific area where you can schedule time, but other than that, it appears to be just fine. It was the least expensive place I could find.

We could not have chosen a more compassionate and caring memory care facility for our mother. She was comfortable, well cared for and we knew she was in good hands when we were not there. The nurses and caregivers became like family to our mother and to us. We will be forever thankful that God led us to Wellngton Parke.

Wellington Parke was very good, and they also have memory care. The rooms were spacious. They have a garden. They have a bus that accommodates wheelchairs, and walkers. They also have a town car for doctors' appointments. However, it was a little more expensive than other places.

Wellington Parke was very nice and clean. The staff all seemed very friendly, caring, and nice. The facility location was a little awkward, but we were able to find it in a very quiet area that's not that far from hospitals and shopping. Their rooms were very colorfully painted. They had an area going to the memory care that was like the yellow brick road and had flowers on each side of the hallway, which was pretty interesting.

This is a fabulous place. It's sometimes a hard decision to put a loved one in an assisted living center but if you must Wellington is the place to do it. Every staff member is kind and compassionate. My aunt has lived here almost 3 years and we've had nothing but positive experiences. My aunt receives love, care and attention. You will not find a better place than Wellington.

I visited Wellington. It was a combination. They had a place for assisted living where people live in like a hotel, and then, they have some nice duplexes. The grounds were well kept, and it looked like they had well-kept little duplexes. They were very nice. I would have moved there, but I do not need assistance, I was just looking for a retirement community for my wife and me, and $1,800 was a little bit outside of our budget. However, it seemed like a very nice place, and the way it was laid out was really nice. I thought the staff was really nice and sociable. I went to the office in the assisted living, and the lady took me over, walked me through the unit, and she was very helpful. The people there looked like pretty contented. The place seemed pretty clean. The few people I saw there were just kind of mingling around out in the lobby, and they seemed like they were okay. They had lots of activities. They had some things posted on the wall there for the people in the assisted living part. It looked like they had plenty to do. It was clean, well kept, pretty quiet and pretty decent place. I would move there, if I could afford it. I would definitely recommend it for retired couples.

We chose the Wellington Parke for convenience because it's halfway between my sister's house and two other sister's houses, so it's kind of in the middle, and our mom had to be in some kind of a lockdown. In the other place we had her in it was not locked. So far, it's been fine. I haven't seen any indicator that she's not being taken care of. My sisters go every night though and make sure she had a shower, so there's somebody there everyday. Her room is just fine. It's got what she needs. They were kind enough to take her in even though we were short noticed. My sister knows that they're doing a good job in taking care of her.
