I went to see Town Village. It was a large facility and somewhat modern. It was very nice. The staff who gave me the tour did a very good job. She was very nice and knowledgeable about the facility. The apartment was very large and adequate. The dining area was very nice. It was medium-sized. Not too large, but not small. I saw the menu and it had good choices. They had a library, arts and crafts, bingo, and they played lots of different games. All the staff that I saw was busy working.

I visited the assisted living and independent living of Town Village in Oklahoma City. The physical appearance of it was very well done. It's very nice and clean, and very appealing to the eye. The staff was very welcoming and professional. They're very encouraging and helpful. They even made some recommendations for me. It was a Saturday when I visited so it was relaxed. I didn't see a whole lot of activities. The staff we talked to was very understanding that we're on a very tight budget. She was encouraging and gave recommendations. What I experienced was very good.

I like Town Village. It is very welcoming and seems like everybody cares. People have been there for a good amount of time and seem like they're getting the care that they need. The staff is very friendly and very eager to help too. My mom's room is small, but it's very convenient. It's close to the kitchen and the dining room. It is perfect for her. The food is very good, it's like dining in a restaurant and it's very healthy. They have daily exercise, church on Sundays, and a shuttle to take them wherever they need to go.

I like the location of Town Village and the different options that they have available in the community. It was a nice setup and the people that I met seemed very kind and very caring. Overall, for the most part, it's a really good option. They had a concierge service, a beauty shop, a gym, and a town hall for meetings, church services, and places to do activities. They have a staff that comes in and makes sure that the residents get their physical therapy and take them to their doctor's appointments. They have three meals a day, plus the ability to go pick up what you would like to eat and take it back to your room if you don't want to eat in the dining hall. Then they had different activities and they were gearing up for one while I was there. It was some kind of a 1930s or 1940s themed event where they had a big band come in to play and there was going to be dancing, food, and drinks. It was just a lot of nice things. The staff I came across was very kind and very helpful. I met a few of the residents and they were nice too.
My biggest drawbacks were the cost and the room, because they had one room that would have worked wonderfully for my mom and stepdad, but it was a one-bedroom studio. I felt like I was claustrophobic, so I can't imagine putting two elderly people in it. So, the room just wasn't going to work as far as the size goes. Then to find out that it was going to be $4500 a month for that little 493 square foot room, it's going to be expensive.

Town Village is very, very pleasant and certainly something that I would consider. It was very nice, the accommodations were very good, and the staff was very helpful. They were out of their rooms and coming down to the lunchroom. The staff was very helpful, answered all questions, and didn't try to hide anything at all. I got to speak to the residents there, it was very open. The facade looks clean and in place. People knew when to go to the dining room, they were engaged. The hallways were clean and did not have an odor.

I was able to tour Town Village, and it was really nice. I liked it a lot. I liked the way it was designed, and they had breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was a beautiful property, and the landscape and grounds were nice. Everything was nice. The inside was nice too. It was like an extravagant hotel. The staff was outstanding. The manager and the assistant manager were outstanding as well. They were very courteous, respectful, and attentive to the need of the patrons.
I would love for my uncle to stay at this property. It's my number one property for him to stay at from all that I have looked at. The only thing is that the rent was above what he could afford. It was too expensive, but everything was very clean and outstanding. I was told they had a chef that prepares two different meals for the patrons. They had a pool table, cards, and dominoes for them to play. I did not go through the grounds, but I was told they had different activities for the patrons; but because of Covid, they are kind of shutdown right now (which I understand). They are practicing social distancing which I liked.

We went to Town Village, and we just like it. I really liked the director. She was awesome, very welcoming, and I liked the way that they have a community. They didn't have much activity with the assisted living part, but in the independent part, there were a lot of people coming out, which was cool. I think I would have seen that eventually in assisted living. There were a few different choices for apartments. They were small, but there were some that were better than others with regard to layouts, more counter space, more cabinets, and bathroom size. I think I saw about four different layouts to choose from, and different prices. They had a library, but it was more for independent living, and there was a communal eating facility for later on. The thing that I liked more is that people stayed there. The food supervisor had been there like thirteen years, and the people who take care of the rooms and things, they had been there for a while. That shows that the place must be doing something right.

I was very impressed with the staff at Town Village. They were very friendly, and very professional. The lady was very welcoming and very patient with us, explained everything very well, and talked us through it. The rooms were very nice. The whole facility was very, very nice; we were very impressed with it. The rooms were pretty large. My mother seemed very happy. She thought there was more than enough room than what she needed. They had windows and bathrooms, and the layout was very good. They had lots of safety bars. They also said if we needed to change anything, just let them know, and they will work with us. They had kitchenettes, and closet space. The layout of the room seemed to flow well, and the doors were wide enough. The food was delicious; I cannot believe how good it was. It just showed that they really put some time and care to their meal planning. It was almost like a restaurant food, but it wasn't. The spices were perfect. It was barbecued chicken thigh and drumstick, baked beans, and mashed potatoes. My mother was impressed. Some of the residents were just lounging around and were very friendly, looked happy, and had been there for a number of years. The staff knew everybody by name. All around, we were very impressed. They kept it up, and it was clean.

Be aware that what you see and what you are told about Town Village is not what you get. The internet has been down in the business room/library on the second floor for several weeks. The printer/scanner is not hooked up. Many of the washers in the laundry rooms do not work. Look for all the signs of leaks on the ceiling in the dining room. The fountain in back was not operational in the three months I lived there. The meals are fairly good, but get tiresome when the menus are repeated week after week. You'd best be fond of chicken. A tablemate who has a gluten intolerance asked repeatedly for food she could eat and finally took to eating in her room most of the time. The serving staff barely has time to be trained before they are either fired or quit. Expect long waits for food, especially on weekends, when staff neither calls nor shows up. The dining room is frequently out of popular food items, such as vanilla ice cream, cottage cheese and orange sherbet. A new dining room director was recently hired, so hopefully some of these deficits will improve. Any promises made by the executive director or marketing director either record or get in writing. The AL nursing director is also much better at promises than delivery. Discounting most of the administration, most of the staff is competent and helpful. If you want a true account, talk to a resident one-on-one. You will find it difficult, if not impossible, to shake your tour guide in order to do this, but if you strike up a conversation with two or three residents you will learn what really goes on behind all the glitter and hype. I hope you find this review helpful. I have tried to be both fair and honest. If you want more information, I have no problem with you contacting me via email.

I liked Town Village very much. Valerie was very helpful. The community seemed small and they don't have a lot of residents, which I like. They seem to be very attentive. All the residents and staff had big smiles on their faces, which is always a good sign. The food was great and home-cooked.

Town Village was fine. We encountered some problems with some of the people there, but the initial experience was excellent. I think it was primarily because they determined that my mother was not a good fit for their community, but I would recommend them to anybody because I was very impressed with them.
The rooms were very good-sized. Closet space was more than adequate. Accessibility was good. We had lunch there; the food was good. They co-mingle assisted living with independent-living when reasonable and possible. It looked like a very nice place to live.

Town Village’s apartments doesn’t have balconies or patios. They didn’t have any private outsides, but they have plenty of group outsides. That was the big difference. It’s a nice community, but I didn’t think they have much exercises. The grounds were nice; it’s a very nice wooded area and plenty of places to walk.

Town Village was OK but it just seemed not as open. Everything was located on the second floor. It just didn’t’ feel homey but it was clean and nice.

I went to Town Village. I like the apartment that they showed me. However, this apartment was a long way away from the elevator, and it was on the third floor. I knew my mother would not like that. Nevertheless, there was a lot I like about this community. I very much like the lady who showed me around. The apartments were very nice. They were bright. I thought the main rear lobby area was very open. My mother uses a walker, but I didn’t notice a lot of people using walkers the day I was there. I didn’t want my mother to feel self-conscious if she is the only one using the walker and nobody else was.

After looking at several places, I chose Town Village. The food is very good, with many choices. The monthly parties make it easy to make new friends. We also have lots of other activities. There are nine guest rooms available when you have visitors. I made the right choice!

On the whole, I feel everything is fine. I would just like to see a bit more repairs and things done. Food is good. Employees are very nice and accommodating. Windows need to be washed and draperies restored to the dining room for coziness and sound.

I love my one-bedroom apartment at Town Village. It’s on the 3td floor and I see the sun set everyday! Food is good. We have lots of parties and entertainment. We have bus service for stores, grocery and malls. We also have trips almost every week to different cafes and restaurants.

I have resided at Town Village for the previous 4 years. The only thing I do not like is my own problem of not having my personal transportation. The services here are above average. The only problem is food. It seems there’s plenty and a good chef but not always what you wanted.

They are really nice at Town Village. They let us come late in the evening to see my mom and her apartment. They are very accommodating. They have a restaurant style cafeteria. If they do not want something in the menu, they can order something different. It is a really nice place. They have bingo nights, movie nights, and transportation to shopping and doctor visits. The security is fine.

We have our mom in Town Village. The food is good. Everybody says it's really good, and they have a really good chef. The place is clean and neat. It smells good. Everybody is very friendly. The staff seems genuine and taking care of the people there. My mom's room is really small, but it seems to meets her needs. I think the kitchen for her may be a little big. I'd rather have more room space than kitchen space, but they are nice. They have all things. They work on puzzles. They have a little mini-store. They have a book club and a walker's club. They have people come in and speak to them. They have movies on Saturday nights and bingo. They all have a key that they have to wear on them.

We just got to tour Town Village, and we looked over the building and the rooms. They showed us the layout of the facility and also the dining room. They looked really nice and friendly. Their doors were all decorated, so it looked like the people were happy. They didn't smell like urine.

We chose Town Village for my mom. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a complete kitchen. I’ve eaten there twice, and I think the food is good. They have heart healthy items on the menu. They have a walking club, bingo, once a month they have a festive night, and they have exercises. They have lecturers who come in, a painting class, handwork, and a lot of other things.
