I liked Homestead of Bethany quite a bit because it was really close to us, and they're remodeling. They only have about 35 residents that they take at a time. They had a lot of the same type things as other ones had. It's maybe not as upscale as the others. It's smaller, but it's very clean.
The gal that took us through on the tour was a really jolly kind of person, and she takes care of setting up the schedule for doing things to help make sure that their muscles don't get atrophied, that she tries to do things even if they're in a wheelchair, there are things that they can do. These people are assisted living and some are memory care, but it was very, very nice.
Depending on the evaluation of the medical doctors and the team that they have, they said my mother may qualify for assisted living, and then as she progresses in her dementia they have memory care available for her, but it's a smaller place, and I sort of liked that.

It was very clean, and it was under new ownership. The director was very friendly. We liked it, but we couldn't afford it based on what my mother needed.

Everything was really nice. They showed us all the rooms, but we were looking for a big efficiency room for my dad. It had a bathroom concept and a closet concept and everything else was just a big open room. They had a big dining room and a media room. It was a small place with 30 beds, which we liked. It was really close to my family, so everything was really nice about it. It sort of fitted in the situation for my father. The staff was very helpful. The residents looked fitting for the situation of life they're in, but they looked okay. They were eating dinner when we came in and they looked pretty clean, organized and everything looked good. They looked very presentable.

It was decorated very nicely. It was very clean, too. It had one small closet, but I could fit the whole unit into the living room I have now. I only saw one or two people out in their big living area, so that was kind of depressing. The staff was very pleasant.

It was a smaller facility, and the number of residents was also small. The woman who gave us the tour was very nice. She seemed to be very concerned for me and my father's situation. It was a nice place, but nothing really stood out for me. The dining area was a little bit smaller because there were not many people. The rooms were OK.

We really, really like it. Mom thought it’s a perfect place. It feels more homey. Their staff's work attitudes are really good. Their rooms were nice and clean. It looks like a good place to stay. The only activity that I saw when I visited there was exercise and some art. They also have a hairdresser there where you can make appointments with her.

I like it. This place is small. There are only 25 rooms, although the facility itself looks very nice. Their staff seems very helpful and cordial. The only disadvantage they have is that I don't think they have enough activities for my dad. He needs quite a bit of things to keep him busy. I also think there are not enough people there to keep him occupied.
