My grandmother will be going to FountainBrook Assisted Living & Memory Support. It's close to our house and it's more updated than the other facility. The lunch menu was great. They have a choice like a restaurant style and they're open all day; they don't have cutoff times for the food. They have entertainment, activities, a beauty barber salon, a library, and a huge 6-foot tall bird enclosure, and my grandmother loves birds. They have the standard cleaning service once a week and laundry service. The staff was great. We texted, emailed, and left messages and we even got there early because we wanted to see what was going on before our scheduled time and she was open to seeing us. We looked at several different rooms. They had a studio and a one-bedroom. She was great.

My mother is in FountainBrook in Midwest City and it's been very good. They've been working with me and that's how we got to where we are at today. We've had some issues and we worked them out. The staff is very nice. There's enough rooms in there to take care of the residents. They have 3 meals a day and they have activities. Each room has refrigerator and a microwave. The food is a lot of the same thing over and over, according to my mother. The facility is very clean, it's very nice and it's never dirty. They stay very busy doing bingo and exercises. They try and keep the residents very active.

I have visited some facilities because I was visiting current residents. One of them that I visited would have been FountainBrook. It was a very nice place. They had a lot of amenities. I didn't try their food, but I would rate them a good 4. The staff members were always very helpful and very pleasant. I frequently saw the residents doing an exercise class. It's a very nice facility.

FountainBrook Assisted Living was nice. The people were nice and very helpful. The food was good. The apartment where my mother would've stayed was nice. I didn't like the big apartments built near them. Also, the entrance was very concerning because you have to physically open the door to get into the facility. My mom is 92 and being in a wheelchair or a scooter to physically open that door is pretty problematic. I can't believe that the ADA doesn't require them to have a handicap button to push. The facility, the staff, the food, and the accommodations were all fine. There's plenty of activities, there's a hair salon, a game room, a TV room, and a library. The staff was nice and helpful. She's picky about food, and I was pleasantly surprised that she gobbled up the food.

FountainBrook was very good. They have a variety of activities for folks. The place was very clean and fairly new. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. We ate there a few times and the meals were good. They had good choices, and there was a menu where you could get certain items. They just don't take Medicaid. The rooms were sufficiently large enough, with lots of light, a window in each unit, and it has a courtyard so you can walk around, be protected, and enjoy the outdoors. The other rooms have separate private dining rooms and living room/dining room/kitchen setups, which were also very nice.

FountainBrook was nice but a little bit older. It had a nice, well-done memory care area. The rooms seemed to be a little bit smaller. The dining area seemed clean, and the amenities were older and not updated. The facility was very clean, and maintenance seemed to be great. The lady who I met with was very personable and followed up.

My Mom moved & she loves it! She tells us the food is terrific - just like she cooked & there are plenty of fun things to fill her day! She is most appreciate of the staff, who she tells us treat her like a queen! That's all we needed to hear to know she's enjoying a great quality of life!

My Wifes Mother lives there and is not happy. Food is horrible and so is the staff. They just redid the kitchen and now the cost to stay is going up. Figures! They need somebody that has a clue to manage the place. Maybe somebody that has taste buds that work also.

Fountain Brook changed management and the director -- I think she quit -- and it was in chaos after that. It took them three months to give my mother a shower, and every time I would inquire about that getting a hair cut or shampoo and a beauty shop, the standard answer was "We asked her, and she said no." You don’t ask an Alzheimer or dementia patient. Do you want to; it’s like having a 3 year old. We were pleased before they changed management. Now they are remodeling their kitchen because my sister in law is still there. This happened a month ago, and they said it will only be a few weeks but now they’re projecting that the kitchen won’t be remodeled till the end of October, and these people are getting sandwiches and cereal. That’s not geared mainly towards the Alzheimer’s.

Fountainbrook was newer and more modern. The rooms were really nice. I just didn't feel quite as relaxed there. The facility was not that old; it was more up-to-date. The dining area was large, and it gave you more of an institutional feeling. The staff was good and interfaced well with the residents. The one thing I did like was that they had a safe room because they have tornadoes in Oklahoma. The food wasn't bad.

The FountainBrook is very, very nice in terms of both the facility and its staff. The food is very good, and it's like in a restaurant where you order from a menu. My dad moved in there on the 1st day of February.
