Arbor House of Mustang was fairly nice and people were very nice. The location is great. The rooms were sufficient. For the memory care, they only have an outdoor patio area, aside from the kitchen area and common area where they do exercises and other activities. I was very impressed with the staff.

We went to Arbor House of Mustang two weeks ago. It appeared clean and well-kept. We looked at a room that they had empty at the time and it looked like it would be appropriate. We weren't there at mealtime, but we were very impressed with the place. We were exposed to one person and her job was to show people around. She did that and answered all of our questions. I don't have any complaints. She did a good job.

Arbor House of Mustang was nice. The rooms were small. The staff was nice. I wasn?t very interested in the rest of it. They had a nice courtyard, and the place was very clean. The activity room was nice, but nobody was there.

Arbor House of Mustang is a nice place. It's relatively new, it smells good, the food, service and staff are good, and Mom really likes it there. She gets her haircut, she gets her doctor to visit there, and she gets her pharmacy and meds there. They have 3 meals and 2 snacks a day, and they're doing a social function all the time. They also have an Alzheimer's support group. They do a lot of board games and Bible study, and people come in from the church and play music. She likes Bingo and Yahtzee, and she participates in exercise. They're working with me on the federal long term care insurance part. My mom likes the food, and she's gaining weight.

Arbor House was beautiful, but it was a little bit on the small side as far as the rooms were concerned. We have contour beds, and we had to have room enough for them. The sanitation was excellent, but it was too expensive.

My mother lived in assisted living from Oct 2012 to Sept 2013 then moved to memory care. I moved her out of Arbor House in April 2015. She was over medicated with Hydrocodone in June and July 2014 and nearly died. She was given this narcotic by an aide who was fired immediately the day of my discovery. Dr Scott D and Arbor House were told no more narcotics for mom without my permission. She has no reason for narcotic pain pills. They were giving her this to knock her out at night so they wouldn't have to watch her. She has Sundowners and sometimes gets day and night confused. March 2015 for the first 2 weeks they started given Hydrocodone again this time Dr D ordered 120 tabs! My mother is a very kind and loving person who is confined to a wheelchair now. I can't imagine why this happened. Mother is a completely different person in a new Alzheimer's facility. Things are looking up!

My Mother has lived here for 4 years now and it is very much "HOME" for her. The staff and management in this community really care about the residents to the point of feeling like extended family members. I'm not saying everything is always perfect, that's a fantasy. But the management stays pretty consistent and even most the care givers. I think that speaks volumes for the lovely home. My Mother has made great friendships at a time when she needed it most.

The workers are always very friendly and seem truly concerned for the people living there. They treat my grandmother with great respect. The grounds and building are always kept neat and clean. I feel very comfortable having my grandmother live there, and it wasn't long before she was calling it "home."

At first sight you think this is a great place. After having a loved one in the facility, I find it comes up short in most areas. Short on staff, accept on weekends. Lack of housecleaning staff for memory care unit. Unfair or descrimination against the memory care unit and staff.
