My mother will be moving into The Linden at Stonehaven Square. There were a number of factors we considered. The first thing we considered was the fact that as her care goes up, she does not have to move from one location to another. The food was nutritious, attractive, and flavorful. The service was very friendly. They had a lot of activities available for the residents. They had a lot of services, such as medical care, transportation, and that sort of thing.

I only met the move-in coordinator at The Linden at Stonehaven Square because I went on a Saturday, so the salesperson was not available. She was friendly. She showed me the one room that they had available, and it was on the second floor. I didn't like the fact that things were on the second floor, but the room was nice. I also didn't care for the view because you would be looking down on the roof of the entryway. They have what they called "the spa room" and a salon.

The Linden at Stonehaven Square was very nice and offered memory care. It's new, and for cost, they're right in the ballpark with everybody else. The one-bedroom was $4,800 a month with a den. The leasing agent was nice and has followed up.

The Linden at Stonehaven Square was more my style of decorating. They had more stone and huge fireplaces. They had great activities, and it was updated. The snack area was a bistro, and they had cooking classes. The girl who gave me the tour was excellent and very caring. I ate there and even the chef came out and talked to us while we were eating. I had a custard pie but I had to know if it had calcium because I have a restricted diet, so they brought me this handwritten recipe of the lady baking the desserts. I was like, "Wow, I'm impressed," because it was handmade. Just being there was like being on a cruise ship. They had very nice dining and linen.

We've been twice to the Linden at Stonehaven Square, and we love it. They have an exercise room, a movie room, and games going on. They offered more activities than the other places. They had meals and restaurant dining with a menu that had several different choices on it. The rooms had more light because they have windows in both the bedroom and living room.

The Linden Square was very nice. I liked it, but they don't have the facilities to care for you until your death. The dining area was very nice and homelike. When you buy the food, they fix your plate, and someone carries it to your table; that was nice.

The Linden at Stonehaven Square was brand new and very nice, but they didn't have any residents yet. The person who showed us around was very nice. The rooms were very small. One of the living rooms of the one-bedroom that he showed us was only large enough to have two recliners in it. It wouldn't even hold a sofa. Being brand new, we couldn't really tell if the staff was going to be happy there. That was the reason we chose not to go with them. They didn't really have any staff members there that day except for the person who was showing us around, plus a lot of construction workers. They had quite a few rooms. The facility, common rooms, dining room, and everything looked nice.
