Known Memory Care at Tulsa is a beautiful, recently renovated memory care community specifically designed for the special needs of those with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory limitation or dementia. Cozy studio apartments, comfortable gathering spaces, and indoor and outdoor activity areas create a stimulating yet manageable living space. I was able to do a quick tour of the facility. I saw residents that were having a small interaction in the front room, however, they weren't doing a whole lot, because they had a case of COVID. The place was clean and the staff was friendly, informative, and gave me a lot of information. The size of the room was perfect and they were clean. Everything smelled nice. I'm just looking for a smaller number of residents, which they didn't have.

My mother-in-law has moved into the facility. It's strictly memory care. They have apartments, but it's just your bedroom and closet and wheelchair-accessible bathroom. They have three different areas where you can go from the inside to the outside. The home itself surrounds the areas outside. It has greenery and a covered area. It's shaded and there are places to sit. They have concrete walking, and there are flowers and a garden area walking out. On nice days, they let the residents go out there. We're trying to be there a couple of times a week to make sure everything's OK and she's doing OK.
You can have physical therapy work with your loved ones, but it's a separate bill. It's not part of the home. They try to keep the residents busy. Each room has a pretty good size bathroom and a higher toilet and a sink in there with the mirror, but they bathe them in bathing rooms that are set up on each wing. Each wing has its own bathing and laundry and everything. They offer breakfast, lunch, and supper, and then they have snacks when they have their activities in the morning. In the afternoon activity, they have a cookie or just something small that they can hold in their hand and they have juice with that. It's memory care, so your loved one can't be the nursing care type. They have to be mobile or in a wheelchair and can do a lot for themselves.

I would recommend this facility to anyone. It was very clean and everyone who works there is so very nice. My Dad was in this facility and everyone there was always nice and friendly and he was always taken good care of.

We had my Father in law in this facility and it is great. The Director of this facility was so helpful and nice to us. The nurses were so good with him and was always asking if they could help us in any way. The rooms and whole facility was so clean and nice. Everyone was so great. Would highly recommend this facility. Thanks again for all you all do.

We chose them for my father. I just like the freedom that they had to roam around for the memory care part, the rooms for 2 beds were still separate, I liked that part, and then the price. The staff is so far so good. My husband tasted the food, and he said it was good. They have bible studies, art classes, and stuff to do outside.

Great facility. Everyone there is so caring and the nursing staff is great. Anthony and Katlin are both very professional and passionate about their jobs.

The social worker at the hospital gave me the name. I'm very pleased with the placement and the facility is excellent. The staff is very helpful, attentive, they call whenever there's some items missing or mother needs things.
