Jan Frances is a decent nursing home, but it is not the most modern or best facility available. My grandmother resides here, and she is cared for competently but not in any outstanding fashion. Some of the staff make the most of what they have and are quite friendly (such as the breathing therapist my grandmother sees), but some are not excited to be there and unafraid to show it. I would not really recommend this facility unless you or your loved one cannot afford a better nursing home. I do not think you need worry about being utterly neglected or badly cared for, but, at the same time, there are most pleasant places to spend the golden years of one's life. I have not seen much sign of social activities at Jan Frances. It also has a bit of a rundown appearance to it. It is, I believe, the least expensive nursing home in the city of Ada, so it is just a basic facility. My grandmother is dependent on government assistance to afford it, but, if you can afford better for you or your loved ones, it would be worth your time to check out other facilities in the area.
