Disappointed with Facility
My grandma was here for a year. Many times she would wait 20 minutes or longer to go to the bathroom. In the end she couldn't chew solid foods but they would still being her a tray of food with items such as Salisbury steak or chicken. They didn't offer to assist her, never brought her fresh water except once a day. On her final evening she was very uncomfortable and the Dr had ordered morphine but the nurse never even brought that and said she would have to wait until morning. She passed away 2 hours later. I would never recommend this overpriced place to anyone!

My father was at the Willows at Willard for a while, but then he had to go the hospital while he was there. They locked his room because he was gone for too long; that’s why we took him to another place. It’s a beautiful and pretty place. My dad was at the end room, and he just didn’t get as good a care. He really didn’t do much other than his rehab. They had music and bingo, and they have snacks at different times during the day. I thought the food was very good, and the dining room was very nice. I just didn’t feel like they check on him enough; there would be times where he presses the buzzer, and it would be 25 minutes before he would even hear anything from anybody.

The staff from The Willows at Willard was very nice. They took good care of my stepfather. The rooms were very pretty. They’re very nice rooms. They’re decorated very nicely. My stepfather thought the food was very good. They had a lot of activities, but he wasn’t able to do a lot right then. He did some and he enjoyed them. They had group of people meet and they had people come in and sing. They had a lot of different things.
