My Mother has been at this facility for almost a month,...the upstairs is Alzheimer's/Dementia where she is...downstairs is Nursing home. This place gets 10 stars from me, they treat my mother like one of their own. I love and my Momma loves all the nurses, so ThankYOU to Heartland of Fairfield

Heartland Fairfield is a small long term care facility. It's staff is, for the most part, friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for the elderly. My grandfather spent the last 9 months of his life living in the facility. He never complained about the staff, the living space, activities or food. It was always clean, he always had fresh linens when he needed them and the personal care he received was very good. My papa had 2 favorite aides at the facility and due to traffic we were unable to make it to the facility before he passed away. One of his favorite aides sat with him and held his hand and stayed with him even after he'd gone onto Glory. If I personally had to be placed in a home, God forbid, I would be comfortable in the care this facility gives to say that I would be ok with staying there.
