Heritage Pointe at Oakwood Village is a small unit, very well staffed with nurses and aides, and very homey. They have several planned activities for the residents. Each resident's little apartment has a little window and a door with her name on it. She can decorate the room with her own items that help with her memory. They have a really nice dining area and it is set up like a café. There's a very large fireplace with a television and places for hands-on activities like puzzles and art. Once a week, they do the nails for the ladies and other little things that make them really feel special. The food looks appealing and they interview the residents about their likes and dislikes, especially their dietary needs. The place is just beautiful and very well-maintained. Heritage Pointe is just priced alongside the other memory care places, but I feel that we are getting more for our money.
