Mom has found a loving, caring, and high-quality home at Lantern. She has been a resident for approximately 5 years and has thrived in both the standard community and the Memory Care community, "Lantern of Chagrin Valley," where she receives more focused care and attention. I urge that my friends look into Lantern for their loved ones.

Our mom is a new resident here from out of state, just as this horrible pandemic has hit. Through this our family wholeheartedly agrees that our mom is doing so much better here than where she was. In the photos and FaceTime they provide us with, she has so many more smiles! Thank you Carolyn and All the staff for your dedication and kindness helping her find more “happy” especially when we can’t be there! Thank you!

Definitely want tolnow why facility not licensed yet by the state. No name bands or anything to indicate who the patient is, since there is constant staffing changes. No real help to stimulate patients, no games to pretend they are shopping, nothing at all to indicate activity of life. Lots of fancy rooms but they sit there unused. No qualified physician to evaluate patients. Incoming monthly charge of $3900.00 and after a brief time, family is told patients needs more care at higher price. A 24 million dollar facility and not filled to capacity, makes you wonder. The Lantern does not qualify as a Dementia Care Facility! Facility..

Everything at the Lantern of Chagrin Valley was pretty much brand new and nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. He answered my questions and took me around; everything was positive. The dining area was fine, no problems. Their price seemed a bit high. It was so new, and it might be a little convincing if there had been more people there walking around and stuff. It was really bare and empty. It is not convenient to where my mom lives. It is close to us, but it is very far away from where she lives, so it is harder to consider as an option.
