Staff were great with my mom who was really anxious. Social work, Activities and chaplains were great!!

The first place I chose for my husband was Providence Care Center, and that was a nightmare. It was awful. The progress my husband could have made if he was in the place he's at now, would have been a lot further than where he is now. He was there for around 20 days. The technicians there were rude and they would yell at my husband. The staff was rude all around. In terms of activities, I just remember a lady coming around with magazines or games, but that was about it. The facility itself was like a prison. The only thing that was nice when I walked in was the chapel that was right there. It was very dreary.

Our experience with Providence Care Center has been pretty positive, except for this last year. My mom has a private room, and it's OK. The staff is great. I haven't eaten their food yet so I can't say first hand, but my mom complains about it. The place is clean, and they don't have they a lot of turnover in help. It's expensive. The building itself is very nice. They can still improve on their outside courtyard upkeep. The value for money depends on the services that you require for your loved one.
